Health insurance.

We live in Canada and plan to go to Arizona for 6 months as we’ve done for the past 7 years.my wife recently has a mastectomy and many years ago had a bout of asthma. As far as myself, I’ve been on blood pressure pills for the past 20 years. However, this past July we both turned 70 and for 6 month insurance they want $3400 to cover both of us. This does not cover anything related to asthma or cancer for my wife. Does this sound reasonable ?

RE: Water pump

Did you open a faucet and let the air you left in the lines bleed out. I mean I keep hearing the line about "Air in the lines" (propane) when a furnace or water heater does not work after several tries (This by the way is BS. Fridge its possible but not very. but for a Furnace or water heater it's BS) BUt air in the water lines CAN indeed compress enough to prevent the pump from priming. Also Some systems have a 3-way valve on the pump INTAKE (one more though too) that lets the pump suck pink stuff out of a jug. Finally.. MY system the fresh tank drain is in the line from the tank to the pump. if I leave it open it can suck air.. Well after your post about air in lines I opened all taps and turned on the pump. After they were all purged with air I shut the taps and the pump shut off. I am one happy guy. Now it’s up for sale with a good conscience. Going to look for something smaller as we bought a place in Yuma for our 6 months down south in the winter.

RE: Water pump

Worked fine to fill the hot water tank, but keeps running until I shut it off.

RE: Water pump

Yes. I put the hot water tank on gas and when it reached temp and shut down I released the check valve for relief in the tank. Same thing, turned on the pump and it keeps running.

RE: Water pump

After 6 months in Arizona, arrived home end of March in Canada. Drained and winterized after getting home. Today I filled the fresh water tank and turned on the pump to fill the hot water tank. Now the pump won’t shut off. I left it off for a hour so but when I turn it back on it still runs. No leaks anywhere. Any ideas ?It means something is open somewhere. Would help to know what type of RV as water inlets differ. Check your water inlet fill cap on tight and check the screen inside. Check valves can get worn out or just pushed out of position. Push it with your finger to reseat and try again.. 2011 Rockwood TT. Fill cap is on and I never touched any valves when I got home. Is there a reset on the pump ?

RE: Rolling up Awning SHADE in Awning...

I too am looking at the Vista Shade for my electric/automatic awning but have a few questions/concerns: 1. Is the zipper something that is going to rust/discolor the underbelly of the awning? 2. Are you saying you a) have an automatic awning and roll the whole 8 ft up with the awning when desired? or b) you have to take off the bottom 6 ft panel and THEN roll it up?. Top part stays on, not the bottom. The zipper is plastic not metal.

RE: Led bulbs

Okay so I tried two different LED plug in bulbs to no avail. They are working bulbs. Two of the light fixtures in this trailer have LED bulbs in them, both working.

Led bulbs

Searching the web to no avail. Just bought a stationary RV trailer with 110/120 volts. Where can I find plug in bulbs to change to LED ? All I can find are 12 volt.
