RE: Do you run house AC while on the road

Yes we run the generator so the passengers can see television and the a/c’s are running.

Towing a 2 wheel drive automatic transmission

If I’m correct you can’t tow a 2 Wheel Dr. automatic transmission because the transmission would overheat but my question is, can’t I put the truck in neutral with the engine running and pull it, that way with the engine running it will circulate the transmission fluid keeping the transmission cool. Are there any mechanical reasons that I cannot do this. And no the gear shift cannot jump into reverse. I can get a electric brake that will operate with the power brake active.

RE: Can my carpet be dyed?

Yes carpet can be dyed. But you are much better off replacing it. Because the dye does not absorb evenly on used carpet then you are worse off then before. I would recommend you locate a carpet installer in your area he can measure your unit to see how much carpet you need. You purchase the flooring from a local store (low price 30oz carpet with 6lb. Pad is all you need ) i did my 36 ft coach carpet and vinyl for $1200. Your local carpet stores or Lowe’s can give you the names of good installers. If you have any questions you can ask me.

Intellitec energy management system

I have a 1998 Fleetwood Bounder, it’s a 30 amp only unit with 2 air conditioners it has the intellitec energy management system. This system is obsolete and parts are no longer available, the thermostat has gone bad and just any thermostat is not an option because this thermostat controls both air conditioners. has anyone with this type of system have any suggestions on replacing it

RE: Leveling jacks

The jacks quit working after the shop re-wired the slide out switch. The emergency brake has always had to be set for the slide to work. After the shop re-wired the slide the it will not work with the emergency brake engaged.

Leveling jacks

I have a 1998 Fleetwood Bounder 34V. My slideout quit so I had it repaired, now the slideout does not work with the emergency brake on. And the leveling jacks switch doesn’t come on. Could they have wired something wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Tired of paying high cost repairs with poor results.
