RE: Do you lock your turnbuckles?

Yup, fast gun locks, and they are starting to rust.

RE: Bought best scooter to take on RV

I second the electric bike idea. We have had two Rad Power bikes for a year and a half. https://www.radpowerbikes.com/ There are many YouTube videos on these bikes.

RE: Trading a 5th Wheel for a Truck Camper

At 71 we went from a 5'er to the AF811 TC. We are now out camping more and traveling more. Everything is so much easier. The benefits out weigh the smaller space.

RE: Truthfully, Is RV'in becoming less enjoyable

We do most of our RV'ing during the school year which makes our spontaneous trips doable. For our WA State Parks we have to reserve months in advance but on trips to Natonal Parks we usually just go. We just completed a trip to the Grand Canyon National Park and there was plenty of room in the preferred campground with all hook-ups. We were out 18 days with 17 at campgrounds and 1 boondock at a Walmart. I have noticed that many campgrounds are now allowing more long-term stays for people who buy an RV for a home. This limits their overnight spaces somewhat and may be a problem in the future for people who travel like we do.

RE: RV Cover Brand Recommendations?

I like this one better than the Adco I had. It is heavier though. I have the truck camper cover. http://www.rvcoversprotect.com/goldline-travel-trailer

RE: Cleaning Exterior Cheap and very effectively.

Awesome takes off a layer of finish every time you use it. You're right though it takes off black marks, bug stains, bird dropping stains, etc but is taking off the factory finish that cannot be restored with conventional wax.
