RE: Help - TV - Lance 2445 & Escalade

That TT will be 7000 pounds wet/loaded. At 13% tongue weight plus 100 pounds of hitch...1000 pounds. You and your family plus stuff in the Escalade will be more than 400. Nope, won’t work...safely. Not enough payload.

RE: New Trailer Quality Control

One of the worst I’ve seen. Sorry. Coleman - from high quality and the only brand my Dad would buy, to a joke.

RE: New Trailer Quality Control

Anxiously waiting.

RE: Painfully slow internet

I feel your pain whenever in a private RV park...not often.

RE: Follow up on Big Problem With New TT Tires install

The “take you to court” threat wasn’t helpful to getting the reimbursement.

RE: Has anyone added an extra water tank to RV roof

“Some negatives” include adding 400 pounds plus tank weight to the highest point of the RV. How much did you determine this would raise your COG?

RE: Painfully slow internet

Is your signal strong? If it is, not much you can do. Such as low voltage you aren’t getting what the campground advertised.

RE: What will Canadians fo this fall/winter

I can plan activities other than camping and it appears that is what I will need to do.

RE: marginal park power on hot days

Low voltage will kill your electrical devices day or night. Don’t assume voltage will be higher at night. You need an autoformer. If that’s too expensive for you Hughes makes a $18 voltage meter. Watch and if below 108 disconnect IMO. You paid for RV park electric...but they are supplying inadequate, damaging power. Ask for a partial refund.

RE: Full Timing in Canadian Winter if the Border is still CLOSED

I hope not but best to be prepared...ready.

RE: Class C vs Trailer for Cross country with family? Help

“Will be driving 3 days out and back to max time spent...” Six full days of nothing but driving may permanently make your kids hate driving vacations, camping and all things associated with this trip. Heck, I don’t want to go with you!

RE: sway

You are maxing your F150. New truck needs to be at least an F250. Forget the “dry” weight. Useless. Glad you have new tires but tires don’t affect sway. Air bags level the truck. Nothing else. Your “bit” of reading isn’t sufficient.

RE: Any Trailers for Tall Adults and Tall Kids?

Have you researched toy haulers? Your comments about needing a F550 are hyperbole and detract from your post.

RE: Problems with Ascape travel trailer by A-liner

Lemon laws vary state to state and you haven’t revealed your state.

RE: Onan Marquis 5500 put out too much voltage

"He hasn't connected to the motorhome until he gets this figured out." And be very sure it is fixed before you do.

RE: Quailridge Park Model folleys

“Apparently making more money on unemployment is more attractive than the paying job.” Why swipe at all RV manufacturing workers? Their kids aren’t in school and may need care and supervision. Child care is mostly closed down. They could be concerned about their own health and have underlying health issues. Their elderly parents might have been forced to leave their retirement homes. Sorry someone worried about a national pandemic messed with your schedule.

RE: Power issue

RV batteries won’t and don’t run an A/C.
Lwiddis 07/01/20 07:47pm Toy Haulers
RE: Adding Batteries / Refer Support

Throwing batteries at an issue without an energy survey to determine what you really need isn’t the best course of action.
Lwiddis 07/01/20 07:45pm Tech Issues

Driving the motorhome when not going from A to B is the worst way to charge the battery. A/C won’t run on batteries. Buy a generator...3000 watts will be sufficient in most cases.

RE: Frig in Outdoor Kitchen

Keep looking in other units IMO.
