RE: Roof reseal options

I’ve used Heng’s for years. Easy to apply. Many use a roller. I like a brush.

RE: Wastewater Tote & Fresh Water Containers - Do you use them?

If you get a tote remember that water is 8.2 pounds per gallon. Twenty gallon tote will weigh 164 pounds+ full.

RE: level on level ground and towing

Agreed. When towing it doesn't matter from an appliance standpoint but I wouldn't want my TT not to be level stopped on flat ground. IMO that issue should have been fixed when you purchased new axles and tires. Get it repaired now.

RE: Best Quality Travel Trailers

When the public stops buying poorly assembled RVs quality will improve.

RE: 6 or 12 That is the question

One solar panel on the roof isn’t likely to refill even two batteries…6 or 12…for “normal” use much less if they use the inverter much.

RE: East Side of Sierra options

If you choose the Owens River Road area, off US 395 and across from Glass Creek USFS CG, scout in your toad before you drive in. Short drive to June Lake area and Mammoth for day trips.

RE: Can I rent your RV?

A newbie pulling my TT...disaster waiting to happen. And it is MY bed!

RE: Liquid rubber

I use and am happy with Heng’s.

RE: Getting Confused on what can I tow

My 2007 Tahoe did well with my 5200 pound loaded and wet WInnebago. Six thousand would be my max for it and the 2015 that replaced it. Watch your payload…the other important number. With the Tahoe’s short wheelbase, you’ll be blown around when 18 wheelers pass you.

RE: On street parking problems Portland

It is sad, Don, but if one of these RVs park in front of your home or business it is dangerous and can ruin your business. Francisco “Junior” Claudio my be a nice guy but IMO many of these campers are mentally ill. The other fact is that if one parks...more follow.

RE: Which battery for small travel trailer

Your panels watts are inadequate but they should be delivering high enough voltage. It is your controller that is lowering the voltage IMO. Does your new Nickel/cadmium battery have a memory issue?

RE: What do you think about this set up?

I had better luck than Curly had with my Tahoe but OP's set up is not ideal. You'll be at 7,500 pounds wet and loaded minimum. It won't be fun.

RE: Glenwood Canyon I-70 mudslides....!

RE: Wi if booster

Boosters increase signal strength not bandwidth. In private campgrounds that offer wi fi it’s rarely signal strength.

RE: Must I have a toad with a 27' Class C?

Most places? It all depends on your choices. Many supermarket parking lots, yes, but parking downtown for a restaurant? Probably no. All Walmarts. Breaking camp to just go to town…no fun.

RE: uneven tire wear

Bent axle can. At four, almost five years old, replace them all. How they look is not the best way to determine tire replacement. Time is.

RE: Trying to beat the rain... Air Up.. Best of the best

Dumping in the rain is terrible. I’ve been lucky the last five years or so.
