RE: Questions about just purchased toad w / existing setup

Thanks. Are the brackets really vehicle specific? I don't see why these brackets wouldn't be compatible with my base plate, but I don't think they'll work with my cross bar. whatugetemon Brackets are BASE PLATE specific. Your cross bar may not be needed/used.

RE: Newmar DutchStar Chrome Exhaust Tip

I have a 2003 Newmar Dutchstar Freightliner chassis where the chrome exhaust tip has came off. It's a 5" tip and it is somewhat worn, but what made it fall off is the sleeve that u-bolts to the tip and slides into the muffler with another u-bolt clamp has rusted through. I would like to replace the coupling sleeve and the chrome tip, but I am unsure where to go to find a replacement. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? https://www.ebay.com/itm/133345678386?_trkparms=ispr%3D1&amdata=enc%3AAQAGAAAAkJif%2BftBpCXTbC%2B%2BNuRge2YUZg57QoeZKllAYJa5mzt8rgoDCbV0jeId0e4KMrFg3gTgFxQjtIdK5dNOcdZAwFV9EyF1NqDKrJToNEvS7xPkMs2KUMTASa3VnFoZYoV91TFvNy0dHR%2FXnJ5W%2FLO%2FJSqoWVQi7dMEPfFPWURxJBibjxh%2B0ASdZvWWUdR2H4Cijw%3D%3D&chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&itemid=133345678386&targetid=1262375642056&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=1028192&poi=&campaignid=12873834712&mkgroupid=117462212370&rlsatarget=pla-1262375642056&abcId=9300536&merchantid=113355762&gclid=CjwKCAjwuIWHBhBDEiwACXQYsc2HrGuJQcXCRv6JWPgustIjADKs4AZSqHVzUH_fSxkgmvtybm7h4RoCEsIQAvD_BwE

RE: Convection oven exhaust?

My trailer AC already has a difficult time keeping up with the heat but the convection oven dumping all the hot fan exhaust into the cabin makes it particularly rough and doesn't make sense to me.Is this what it is supposed to do? Super Dave, Vent it to the outside if possible ... or don't cook inside in hot weather.

RE: Smaller Holding Tanks...What to do when NO hookups??

So we made compromises....smaller TT, lighter weight, easier to tow, easier to access locations, etc. Smaller, lighter TTs usually equals less CCC which equals smaller holding tanks. The new to me TT has holding tank capacities as follows: Fresh: 37ga B/G: 30ga Brochure on TT states 50 on fresh, but called Keystone, and per VIN, it is 37. We mainly camp where there are full hookups. Some state parks offer water and gray, but no black. But when we do want to go where there are no hookups, how can we handle the limited tanks?how can we handle the limited tanks? We travel most of the time with 3 adults......4 on occasion. Thoughts? Dump often.

RE: Where are the camper salvage yards?

I am in need of a compartment door. I contacted Lance but they are currently only servicing campers 2010 and newer. I am also in need of a ladder. Particularly the lower part of a foldable one. I contacted TopLine Mfg but they never got back to me. I also need the umbilical cord from a Lance. My searches sends my to limited ebay results :( MN Ben https://rtrvg.com/blog/2017/07/22/used-rv-parts-and-salvage-yards-by-state/

RE: Quick connect LP fitting won't work with standard gas grill?

Most standard gas grills must be connected BEFORE the LP pressure regulator on the RV.

RE: lock/latch for rear compartment door - need source

Winnie (per Lichtsinn) says the lock/latch for rear compartment door is no longer available. It's a simple lock assembly that turns 90 degrees and has threads on the inner end for attaching the lever that holds the door shut. Anyone have a idea regarding source for this? I'd sure prefer not to fabricate one. 2008 Itasca I have photos but it appears they need a URL spotrot https://tinyurl.com/57updcy

RE: Just an FYI about Dish

We have Dish for my RV.. we change our locals on the APP whenever we go somewhere... I like to watch the local news to see what's happening near me, not at home ( where I am not ) True, but the OP wants locals where he is located, AND, wants locals at home at the same timethe OP wants locals where he is located, AND, wants locals at home at the same time time for someone who is not traveling with him. In that case 2 separate DISH accounts seems appropriate /fair
