RE: Fresh water problem

No, I’m using softened water.

RE: Fresh water problem

I sanitized with bleach, then flushed with fresh water. My well water is horribly rusty. So I used softened water. Next I sanitized with vinegar, and flushed with fresh water. I emptied and flushed HWH each time. I filled up at CG three days ago. The water isn’t horrible. It smells of iron but not a strong sulfur odor. My wife showered and had no complaints. I’m gonna sanitize one more time when I get home. Then I think I’d feel comfortable Using for dishes.

RE: Fresh water problem

It is well water that is softened and goes thru a sulfur system. I don’t know how old the hose is. I did sanitize it. Water that comes out at low spot doesn’t smell. I sanitized the system with bleach, AGAIN. Flushed with fresh water. Then sanitized with vinegar. Flushed with fresh water. I drained the HWH each time. I filled up at the campground two days ago. Water seems ok. I don’t trust that it’s safe to wash dishes. I’ll sanitize again when I get home.

Smells both hot and cold. I always sanitize the HWH. It’s an Atwood. So no anode. Oh, isn’t the lining aluminum? Is it reacting with the softened water?

Fresh water problem

I have a 2014 crossroads sunset trail. It’s new to us. I have sanitized and flushed the fresh water at least 4 times. I still have a very strong sulfur small. I use household bleach in the recommended concentration. I use my house water which does not smell like sulfur. It is softened and I run a Super S system which removes any trace of FeSO4. Anyone know what’s wrong or how to fix it?

??. Good to know. That explains why Furion makes one with an integrated clearance light

I picked up this recently. https://i.imgur.com/eu2hpSyl.jpg Keeps the chains and the plug off the ground and neatly organized.

Installed a back up camera. I know its been done and discussed here before. I first bought an inexpensive license plate camera and wired it to the running lights. I then plugged in a 2.4G wireless transmitter. I put the receiver in the TV and connected it to a rear view mirror monitor that clips to the factory mirror. But the reception was horrible. I got a 5.8G transmitter and receiver instead—same result. So I went the expensive route. Furrion The picture is a amazing. No static, delays or interference. I mounted the camera to the top rear of the TT. https://i.imgur.com/tgJpdejl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/A1ZebdAl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/l1IojH2l.jpg I replaced the center light with the camera. Wired it to the marker lights. The monitor is in the truck mounted to the windshield. It synched up right away. I use it while we’re traveling to keep an eye on traffic behind me. It’s great for backing up. I didn’t even need a spotter.

I have to raise my tongue jack all the way up to install my distribution bars. If I go all the way, the gears grind. So I marked the shaft with spray paint to warn me when I’m at the top. https://i.imgur.com/qoEWzYAl.jpg Also spray painted to front of the hitch coupler silver for better resolution on back up camera. More mods to come
