RE: EV alternative for light/medium duty trucks

.... Bottom line we need to get off fossil fuels as fast as we can. Why? you be the winner. climate change cycles have been reoccurring for millions of years. I am in no hurry. Very satisfied and not worrying as I enjoy my gasser truck. Cheers to 300 million other gassers.

RE: Major Ecoboost repair, long delays

RE: Tesla delivers there first semi

the EV semi tractor trailer truck rig weighs 81,000lbs. What will this do to our nation's highways and roads??? If anyone cares. Also according to financial news RIVIAN is doing very poorly financially and may be on last legs?????

RE: Interesting video on the Cybertruck design & designer

The truck is ugly, I don’t care it it has a 600mile range and 400 towing, I wouldn’t want it. If I was forced to, it would be either a Rivian or Lightning! No thanks! I agree, it is gadawful ugly and over. You will see few if any on the road. But a good conversation subject for the bored.

RE: Securing generator while running

Good question. There has over time been many discussions on this topic and maybe a forum search will yield the answer. Also certain to be youtube videos on how others secure their gen sets. I use a wound steel locking cable and secure it to the bumper or hitch carry all receiver or to a very heavy duty picknick campsite table. Run the cable thru the plastic carry handle (that can be easily broken) is my only method so far.

RE: Goodnight Irene, the party's over.

Simple answer for empty heads is rampant inflation for past year. Worse than the 70s by far. Inflated salaries cannot keep up with rampant price increases on most everything. Financial news says value of 401Ks has shrunk due to this. Thank you, JB Scotch, for this.

RE: Ford recall issues

Over the past many years ford has had many recalls for fire issues. Easy to use Google search is your friend unless you are low energy. I like ford suspensions. Cheers to the brave and energetic. https://www.autonews.com/regulation-safety/ford-recalls-2020-2023-bronco-sports-escapes-fire-risk

RE: Where to for Thanksgiving?

Fishing, fishing, fishing on Sacramento River delta and SF bay area. After many years RV travel including some fulltime, I now enjoy carefree basic comforts of home when not on fishing trips to California. Cheers to common sense.

RE: ALWAYS something!

You have many operating systems to go wrong. In many campgrounds and RV parks I have seen Class As stranded for days with mobile mechanics troubleshooting while I go fishing, hiking, sightseeing, etc. Good luck to your future.

RE: uBlock Origin ad blocker

All the trash talk later movies are showcase of our present. Dumb, dumber and dumbest. I have hundreds of DVDs of my favorite western and other movies. All is good for me. Cheers to common sense and no woke GB.

RE: Safety: Microwave Fire!

I use a paper towel or a paper plate with food on it, all the time and never have had an issue.. Same here for over 25 years now with no issues. Food instructions often say to cover with a wet or dry paper towel depending on what's cooking.

RE: Easy way to raise trailer's nose while hitched in campground

Thanks. Your lynx levelers are very cost efficient. My electric tongue jack failed me at night in freezing rain, so I now use only hand crank jack. The exercise is good for me and warms me up in no time. P.S. The hand crank for my electric tongue jack was misplaced a long time ago. Cheers to the brave.

RE: New to traveling

forgot to mention that my 2014 Dodge Ram V8 Hemi is 6 speed xsm and 3.55 gear ratio that is better for towing than 3.21.
