RE: Can I safely tow a Fuel 362 with 2020 2500HD 6.6

Truck Rear Axle Rating...RAWR is what will be carrying the WET pin 17K GVWR at 22% = 3740# 6600 RAWR minus wet pin= 2860# Pretty sure the truck rear axle will weigh more then 3000# BEFORE adding hitch/wet pin Back to that 14,000 GVWR 5th wheel in order to be able to carry WET Pin weight plus hitch

RE: Can I safely tow a Fuel 362 with 2020 2500HD 6.6

Post the Trailer GVWRs Figure 22% of GVWR for wet pin Post your 2500s RAWR Otherwise folks would have to internet search to find that info. Your question...you need to post the details 2020 2500....guesstimate would be 14,000 GVWR MAX

RE: SW6DE hot cables

Suburban SW6DE does NOT use a 'relay' unless RV MFG installed/Modified water heater controls AC from Circuit Breaker goes to AC Junction Box (left side of WH Tank looking from rear) From Junction Box to OEM on/off switch in outside compartment then UP to the 120VAC Set of t-stats (left side) then down to element Black wires....120VAC Hot White Wires....120VAC Neutral Check the wire connections in the AC Junction Box...they are connected using Wire Nuts (not the best for staying tight bouncing/vibrating down the roads) Loose connections.....high resistance===HEAT OEM element is 1440W 120VAC element....12amps

RE: Almost lost reservation in AZ park

Highest bidder takes it! You were buying 3 months; they were buying 12 months. If you own a business, whoever is spending the most money $$$$ will usually get the most attention. Pretty simple. Seinfeld: I don’t understand. Do you have my reservation? Rental Car Agent: We have your reservation, we just ran out of cars. Seinfeld: But the reservation keeps the car here. That’s why you have the reservation. Rental Car Agent: I think I know why we have reservations. Seinfeld: I don’t think you do! You see, you know how to take the reservation, you just don’t know how to hold the reservations. And that’s really the most important part of the reservation: the holding. Anybody can just take them! _____________________________________________________________________ OP ---name the park so others are aware of their 'reservation' practice

RE: 5th wheel pin lubricate

Been using one since late 1990's first on a small 5th wheel and then in 2006 on our new larger 5vr Grease the hitch pivots point and smear some grease on/around the king pin Lube Plate takes care of the Pin box/hitch head contact areas Clean, no messy grease on head plate etc Only thing is.......wash/rinse down plate to remove dirt/grit so it doesn't get embedded in plate

RE: Dometic issue

115*F for 3 days Freezer cooling but food compartment wasn't I would say that was an obstructed cooling unit BUT you went on to say that after the big wave passed the fridge starting cooling again (as in the food compartment got cold also?) That suggest big lack of AIRFLOW/DRAFT across backside of fridge to remove the heat Hot air has a hard time absorbing more heat so heat generated by fridge was not fully being removed in sufficient vloume to have enough cold coolant to absorb heat removed from freezer AND food compartment FANS at top to PULL air in/push it out Proper clearances across backside of fridge...less then 2" Baffles to direct airflow if clearances are to wide Test: Unplug thermistor and let fridge run for 12 hrs Freezer and food compartment get COLD....cooling unit is functioning HEAT has to be removed..airflow/Draft

RE: An Embarassing Moment in a Walmart Parking Lot

I wouldn't have been too worried about that happening in a Walmart Parking lot...probably never see the same people again I was carrying groceries in from truck to house...distance of roughly 30' Half way there both hands FULL of grocery bags my pants dropped to the ground. Almost put me down but my cat like prowess I remained vertical, groceries in hand, pants at my ankles. Hippy hop to porch...set groceries down and finally get pants back up Before I could open front door...landline was ringing Yep ...several neighbors called Best thing to do.......relax and WAVE!

RE: Electrical question

OP paid for Site PLUS Metered Electricity CG pays for ALL electricity used on property....(OP notified them/they are obvious owners of meter...he pays them not the Utility company) They can/will back charge him based on 'estimate' of their previous usage (seasonal site....OP is not just a monthly user but long time user) Electric Company I worked for would/did send make up billing based on 'estimates'/previous usage if/when meter could not be read It is NOT rocket science....just accounts receivable/billing Simple.......... Odd thing is NO response/follow up by OP So who really cares!
