RE: Cost of installation for antenna

Won't hurt the babies to not have a cell for a day or two.

RE: RVs and California's Planned Power Outages

Here in Kansas we have higher winds than Calif, and don't have power lines coming down when the wind blows.

RE: Wiring neutral/ground when splitting panel for MultiPlus?

You could get a 240 vac inverter/charger. Be simpler the wire, no spiting the panel.

RE: Bad Dog = No Start and No shifting of Transmission

Sometimes wires have stripes that are hard to see, but indicate a different wire than a wire with no stripe. Recheck your wiring job.

RE: Diff, transmission maintenance questions

5 gallons of rear end grease????? I think I would question that, but what'da I know.

RE: To Buy or build

I have two friends that tried to build a bus conversion. I sold his with not much done inside. The other has his 75% finished, enough that they have used it to take 6 week trips. But, it's not done and probably won't be.

RE: Plus AND Minus 12v from AC to Thermostat

That's saying the + side of 12 vdc and the - side of 12 vdc.

RE: Million-mile battery unveiled by ground-breaking research.

If the batteries are used in a “spacecraft”.......covering a million miles wouldn’t take very long! memtb Yeah, Been some that went to the moon and back. And to Mars.

RE: Comments on cancel your car Insurance

If you can afford to go to Yuma, you can afford auto insurance.

RE: broke like a toothpick

That couple wouldn't just be sitting there if that was real.

RE: Heading to the Rockies for 5 or 6 weeks.

I don't know how anyone could tell that I was not using tow/haul by what I wrote. I always use tow/haul but I prefer to stay ahead of excess speed by shifting myself. You also didn't say you were towing, but I assume you were. When braking, you are also using the trailer brakes, which is a good thing. I wouldn't worry to much about using the brakes as long as you keep the speed down, even if it's 25 mph.

RE: Cleaning out a DIY septic tank

Why aren't you dumping into the sewer? Can't be to cheap to have a sewer.

RE: States Visited Map Rules

That'll be easy, just float it down the river.

RE: Fresh water drain

I've never drained the low point drains.

RE: Horrid experience Denton tx

In all honesty, if I were the CEO of Good Sam Enterprises I think I would have the forum administrator just zap them all the minute they were posted. Marcus Lemonis is either a bigger man or a bigger fool than me. It would take 4 people to keep up with the bad reviews. If you are a fan of his business practices, you must do some of them also.

RE: Looks like possible pinched wiring in tail/running lights...

On most clearance lights, they need to be grounded to the skin to complete the circuit.

RE: Cracked Rim-what now?

I certainly would NOT cancel a trip if the wheels didn't match.

RE: Chevy 6.0

Again, could have gone faster, but why? Gary Yeah, some people think they'll get a prize if they're the first to the top.

RE: Going to the Sun Road

We have debated, on this Forum, the desirability of driving that road with the usual pros and cons. This story illustrates a con. Well, you can always stay home under the bed. But, there's no guarantee in that either.

RE: Ways to Save on Fuel at Pilot Flying J

Yep, that's what the pump says to do; swipe your payment card first followed by the GS card. But seems many get it wrong. You mean they're supposed to read the instructions. lol
