RE: No City Water Pressure

Update: I took the water filter cartridge out which, in my RV, gets direct in flow from either city water or water pump before going to feed the RV. Everything works now. So bad filter

RE: No City Water Pressure

agree with the 2 thoughts 1 - filling fresh water tank 2 - bad check valve No to both questions....The city water is connected to city inlet. Filling reserve tank is a separate fill on opposite side of my RV. I am also not getting water when trying reserve tank with water pump. All is leading me to think there is a kink in the main line somewhere? How would that be possible when the RV hasn't moved since the fall.

No City Water Pressure

I have a 2014 Bounder Motorhome that I am dewinterizing. I connected city water to rig and have nothing coming out of the faucets. I have sufficient water coming out of hose but nothing in rig when hooked up. My guess is its the city water hookup check valve. But I took the screen off and the check valve seems to open and close freely when pushing on it. What else could it be? There are no leaks or water going anywhere else.

F53 Shock Suggestions

I have a 2014 Bounder 34b and have upgraded various chassis items like steering stabilizer and rear trac bar. Its time to replace the stock shocks. On certain roads the frontend bounces all around. What do you suggest and is it a do it yourself job? Seems there is access to shocks and bolts.

RE: Ceramic Waxes

I used to use Nu Finish twice a year, and it was an all day project to wax the motorhome. A friend who shows hot rods told me about Lucas Slick Mist which is a spray on wax, and I use it every time I wash the rv. Gives a brilliant shine and water beads up in the rain. It doesn't matter how long it lasts since I use it every time I wash the rv, which is at least once a month. It is a blue bottle available at Wally World for about $8, and I get about 3 waxes of the rv with it. I also use it on the cars and is super easy. Just tried this on my car its looks great...super shinny and towel just slides right over after (slick).

Ceramic Waxes

Has anyone used a ceramic wax on there RV similar to Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax? I typically wax my entire Class A once a year with a conventional car wax. It obviously takes time and is a big project. It looks like this product would be a good and faster alternative. Any thoughts or suggestions?

RE: Class A Tire Recommendation

Went with 6 new Michelins through FMCA for $357 a piece. That's an insane price on those. I was quoted $583. Is this a 22.5" tire? They were 19.5 and I used the FMCA discount

RE: Class A Tire Recommendation

Thanks...looks like FMCA has Hankook RV tires Model 3002314 245/70/R19.5 at $298 seems cheap. Not sure how they compare to others

Class A Tire Recommendation

Looking for class A tires for my 2014 Fleetwood Bounder 34B. Unfortunately my RV with 25k miles already needs tires. It is at Ford dealership for a general checkup. Dealership says it needs tie rods and king pins for front end along with 6 new tires ($2,900 w/out cost of tires). I have noticed that the tires are wearing on the outsides edges so I wasn't surprised. However, I am surprised all this work for a 2014 already. Dealership says the Goodyears that are on there now are $668 a piece. I am a FMCA member and they have Hancock, Continental and Michelin ranging from $305 to $430. Any thoughts?
