RE: 3.5 eco boost w/ 10 speed

2018 f 150 with 3.5 and 10 speed. Tow haul mode and lock 9 and 10 out. Only on long gradual downhill grades will let it shift into 9th. I monitor my engine and transmission with torque pro app, and have not found any advantage to manual downshifting with it. This is coming from a former Ram 3500 owner who would only drive manual transmissions because I could do better than the autos. That was then, now....... Maybe its not the trucks are better, maybe I am worse.

RE: Which Shocks for 2017 F150 Ecoboost

I have the Bilstein 5100s on all 4 corners on my ‘18. Also have air bags, sway bar, and LR E tires. Night & day difference. I have done exactly the same including the Hensley hitch. I have driven a lot of miles with 3/4 ton excursions and 1 ton duallys, and I am always amazed how well this current combo works. Minus the gasoline drinking.

Chassis clarification

We are in the real early research stages of our first motorhome after 20 years of various trailers. We really want a shorter motorhome and I have been studying Class B+ and Class C's for that reason. I feel that I have read, or maybe misunderstood that some of the shorter class A's are built on Ford's E450 frames. If that is correct, does anyone know how I can search for those models or manufacturers? Thank you in advance.

RE: Outdoor Kitchens

We have an outdoor kitchen, its the main reason we bought the trailer. Its the center of our activity when at the campsite. We never had a problem leaking at the kitchen. The living room slide is a whole different animal. The sink drains into our grey. We have everything set up out there. The coffee maker stays in the outside kitchen and readily available. We have only cooked on the stove inside once, and that was at a rest stop at the Bonneville Salt Flats due to a storm outside.
