:) Hi, I have my generator set up to be mounted in the bed of my truck, and run from there.

RE: How many people have cameras on trailer

:) Hi, being able to see if you completely passed a big rig (or any other vehicle) and backing into a space, makes having a back up camera great.

RE: Tow vehicle miss match

:) I saw a car towing about a 20' travel trailer using a receiver made for a bicycle rack. I believe those are 1 1/4"s with an adapter to 2" receiver and a ball. According to the license plates this vehicle and trailer made it about 3/4s the way across the country. :E

RE: GM Colorado bent frame towing 2,100 lbs

:) Hi, my guess is that the driver hit a very hard bump causing the entire trailer to leave the ground; This put 2,100 lbs. directly on the hitch / receiver. Please, do not reproduce. :) Hi, why would you make a comment like that? I gave my opinion. You don't like it? You're a very rude person and you should be removed from this forum.

RE: Stove Burner Issue

:) Hi, on my three burner stove top, the front burner is the only one that is adjustable. The back two burners are basically on or off, but you can adjust them by barely turning the knob. As mentioned in the previous post.

RE: $100 per night

Justify it in your own mind anyway you like. I understand you have buyers remorse but it's no ones fault but your own. Any business is allowed to charge anything they like. You don't like the price and you have the right to vote with your feet.....Just drive away. Even posting here saying you were surprised and warning others that this KOA is very expensive is good information for others. Just don't blame the KOA. They did nothing wrong. You think I'm going Back? get real! I am warning others to stay away too. Ever been really tired, and not wanting to argue with some one who has nothing to do with pricing? Yes, I could have driven away, but being tired and having dinner engagement In town didn't. I guess you can blame me for bitchin about high prices, because you believe they are good for the industry. :) Hi, I fail to see why it is your job to warn people to stay away from this camp ground because it was out of your price range. Pricey yes, but we enjoyed our time spent there. This is a great place with a lot going on and very conveniently located. That in it's self justifies the price.

RE: How do you share camping expenses?

Wow, some of you are awfully judgmental. I am talking to you bob. Yeah, we are explorers, not campers nor travelers. I knew there was a reason I do not frequent this site much. Others have had similar experiences here. Mods, please delete. :) Hi, you asked for opinions and got them. I suggest that you read all of these posts. Sorry that you only want posts that agree with you, but that's not how it works when you ask for opinions. I would think that you could learn some kindness from some of these posters.

RE: LED Bulbs for trailer interior in a real store, not online?

:) Hi, I buy all of my 12 volt LED's from Ebay. The choices are endless. I cringe when I see the prices of LED's in stores, even at Wal-Mart.

RE: How do you share camping expenses?

:) Hi, also you have too many excuses. I have a business to run. I got distracted. She's only my half sister. She's verbally abusive. We're not that close.

RE: How do you share camping expenses?

:) Hi, First off I don't take family or friends camping. Actually we are travelers, not campers. Second, the rules are: if you invite someone then you pay. Now you can let them know when and where you are going and if they want go to the same place on their own, then it's all on them for the cost of their space Etc. Sounds to me like you are the cause of her being verbal. :h

RE: $100 per night

That's the price for a 1 night stay at the KOA in Leavenworth Wa. :) Hi, we just recently stayed there for two nights. It is a very nice place. Totally re-done and or new complex. We felt it was worth it to stay at such a nice place near the German town. Other than New Orleans, this was the second most expensive camp ground that we stayed at. And for sure the most expensive KOA we have stayed at. I too was shocked at the price, but this place was on my wife's bucket list and you only live once. While there we re-newed our KOA membership and that brought our cost down to $188.00 for the two nights.

RE: Generator use

RobertSunrus : Thank you. So if i can find one fitting that will be nice. You let tje generator in you truck bed while is running ? But the exhaus ?? Excuse me i'm novice in this field. I never had truck before. :) Hi, I installed four "D" rings to my truck bed to secure / lock my generator down. I found a conduit connector with set screws and a conduit elbow to turn my exhaust up-ward. I also used exhaust wrap material on it. I roll up my bed cover about two feet to run my generator.

RE: Lifting and handling heavy generators

:) Hi, I have an old wooden ramp that I use. I made a furniture dolly to fit my generator. I park my truck in the street to lower my ramp angle and roll my generator into the bed. I then lift it into place and lock / latch it in place.

RE: $700 replacement toilet????

:) Hi, special toilet???? Well with my trailer I had to find one that would fit in my trailer. OK first I wanted to replace my plastic toilet with a china bowl toilet. Next problem is that my toilet spacing is only 9"s. I believe 11" to 12"s is normal. I had to find a china toilet that would fit my wall spacing. Now I had to relocate and modify my water line to fit this new toilet. I did mine by myself for under $300.00.

RE: At what point do I need a WD hitch?

:) Hi, look at the label on your receiver; Most of them will state your weight limit without a WD hitch is 500 lbs. So if your tongue weight is over 500 lbs. you need a WD hitch.
