RE: Dash camera recommendations

:) Hi, I have had two different dash cameras; The problem that I had was since they sit inside of the windshield, they get too hot and shut off.

RE: Upgraded F150 tires to E

:) Hi, My 2014 F-150 came with load range "C" LT tires. Door sticker says to run 40 lbs front and rear. Max cold pressure for these tires is 50 lbs. When towing my trailer I leave my front tires at 40 lbs. and raise my rear tires pressure to 50 lbs. Works perfect. No need to go to "E"s.

:) Hi, I can't drive my RV because it's a TRAILER. Are you asking about a MOTORHOME?

RE: CENTRAMATIC Wheel Balancers

:) Hi, I have Centramatics on my trailer; Trailer brake drums are not balanced so unless your tires are spin balanced on the vehicle, you won't be fully balanced.

RE: Sewer drain is lower than the dump drain.

:) Hi, I have had that with my Airstream because it sits so low. I ask for another space. I have never seen a "dump station" that is raised.

RE: 2020 ACA ("Obamacare") Update for Full Timers

:) Hi, one of my daughters was forced, by penalty, to buy the Un-afordable care act policies. She has three children and her deductible was $5,000.00 per person. $20,000.00 in deductibles for her family. Nothing affordable about that.

RE: F150 Tire time

50k miles going into winter, wear bars are a little too close for comfort. Truck came with Michelins, they are adequate.
4x4, snow, highway, rain, and towing.
Fav brand and types?
:) Hi, my F-150 has 49,500 miles on it so I'm in the same place as you. Mine came with Goodyear Wranglers LT load range "C". I believe that I will most likely go with the same tires. I don't want or need load range "E" and there doesn't seem to be very many choices in "C".

RE: Hitch/Receiver Pin

:) Hi, just don't buy or use a hitch lock/pin that comes with a sleeve to fit two sizes. I bought one for my trailer when it was brand new and it was bent before I got home. (900 miles)

RE: Rally to Rally to Rally etc.

:) Hi, we bought a travel trailer to travel, so we only go to one Rally per year. This year there were 59 Airstreams there. We usually take a side trip after the Rally before heading back home.

RE: Tow vehicle miss match

:) I saw a car towing about a 20' travel trailer using a receiver made for a bicycle rack. I believe those are 1 1/4"s with an adapter to 2" receiver and a ball. According to the license plates this vehicle and trailer made it about 3/4s the way across the country. :E

RE: GM Colorado bent frame towing 2,100 lbs

:) Hi, my guess is that the driver hit a very hard bump causing the entire trailer to leave the ground; This put 2,100 lbs. directly on the hitch / receiver.
Please, do not reproduce.
:) Hi, why would you make a comment like that? I gave my opinion. You don't like it? You're a very rude person and you should be removed from this forum.

RE: Stove Burner Issue

:) Hi, on my three burner stove top, the front burner is the only one that is adjustable. The back two burners are basically on or off, but you can adjust them by barely turning the knob. As mentioned in the previous post.

RE: $100 per night

Justify it in your own mind anyway you like. I understand you have buyers remorse but it's no ones fault but your own. Any business is allowed to charge anything they like. You don't like the price and you have the right to vote with your feet.....Just drive away. Even posting here saying you were surprised and warning others that this KOA is very expensive is good information for others. Just don't blame the KOA. They did nothing wrong.
You think I'm going Back? get real! I am warning others to stay away too.
Ever been really tired, and not wanting to argue with some one who has nothing to do with pricing?
Yes, I could have driven away, but being tired and having dinner engagement In town didn't.
I guess you can blame me for bitchin about high prices, because you believe they are good for the industry.
:) Hi, I fail to see why it is your job to warn people to stay away from this camp ground because it was out of your price range. Pricey yes, but we enjoyed our time spent there. This is a great place with a lot going on and very conveniently located. That in it's self justifies the price.
