RE: It took over 5 hrs to dispatch help.

You could have taken 2 lugs off the other side and put them on where missing and drove to safety and gotten some. Thats what I would have done. Roadside assistance is good for 1 thing … Taking your money

RE: New wireless provider??

We had T-Mobile . . . Just switched off them. Calls never went through half the time. Text messages to family never went through. Had to try like 5 or 6 times to get one to go through. This was in Massachusetts with 2 bars on display.

RE: E7 error

A simple Google Search . . . What is the E7 code on a Dometic thermostat? When you see this code, the system is telling you that all 120 AC power has been lost and the system cannot operate as it should. That loss of power is for all power modules connected to the system. Checking for a blown breaker is one way to fix this issue. I guess it is easier for someone else to search for you

RE: HVAC - No Compressor run

Yes, I misspoke. I was referring to the Y terminal. No signal there when in cooling mode. Thanks for noticing and keeping anyone else from being confused. If you read Dougs post there should be 12 volts there. If not put fan on high or low and jump the terminal to y and see if compressor relay kicks in. I believe it is either GH or GL

RE: HVAC - No Compressor run

Thanks for the replies. I have been reading Doug for years and appreciate all the help he has offered. One thing that quite surprises me is that the signal from the thermostat to the C term on the unit has no(.8V) voltage on it. I expected to find a B+ voltage there. Why no voltage? I believe the "C" terminal is the common thus no voltage on it . . . I could be wrong The c wire is an extra wire that can be used to provide a return path for continuous power for any application. It's normally used to provide a return path to power the thermostat. The “c” stands for common. It is often labeled as “c” on thermostat backplates.

RE: HVAC - No Compressor run

Did you check the low pressure cutoff make sure it is closed. Also do you have 12 volts to the board. I think that is required on the board also

RE: Cummins engine barely starts

Could be the batteries, starter or bad ground. Batteries need to be load tested. Did you ever change the engine batteries?? How old are they?? Clean the grounds from the engine battery

RE: 22.5 wheels

I do believe I had a motorhome set up like that. Also I think my 2012 Ram Dually had the Alcoa's or similar on the outside and the inners were steel. The people you are purchasing the rims from should be able to tell you for sure though. You have a doodle too . . . We have 2 of them Tuxedo Doodles brother and sister

RE: WiFi Camera always late to the action

As you all know, M44 is not very technical minded. But, to me, it would make sense to install in instant capture camera that can record to a flash card then send to a SSD or a phone a delayed WIFI signal - like a time-lag. Then you would have instant record, miss nothing, and still have the WIFI signal send it to a more secure device elsewhere or direct to your phone. That might take a minute or to before WIFI kicks in, but not enough time for a 'bad guy' to find and destroy a recording before it sent the signal out. Maybe I'm missing something? Probably :) I do know even ten years ago, we could shoot and record action images on the baseball field - and manually upload and send to our editors via WIFI right in the camera ... it took a few minutes, but that's it - the editor would have the image almost immediately after the shot. I can imagine that technology is quite a bit advanced nowadays. And motion activated - instant on - record - send, and I'd imagine instant record should be available in a fixed security camera even if it waits a few seconds to actually connect to the WIFI service and send video. The Wyze camera's do that. They have a built in slot for a micro SD card.
