If your basement has a wet bay hole for hoses, television cords, plug it up and and just use a 40 watt lightbulb in there. We were in a NC campground during the winter of 20 while our home was under construction. Had many mornings 12-15 degrees not getting above freezing all day.
RE: Shopping new tires - is my shop confused or am I?
I have found my local Automotive dealer, Ford or Chevrolet can meet or beat any price you get from tire dealers like Discount Tire. My Chevrolet dealer got my Yukon 22” OEM tires for less than local stores and our Atlanta, Discount Tire + got me a $100 rebate.
RE: heavier trailer tires and fuel economy
Trailer tires should not decrease mileage but on the towing vehicle yes. Not necessarily tire weight but total diameter will affect mileage. Stock tires on most trucks 16, 17, all the way to 22” tires are within an inch or 2 in total diameter. Now the guys that stick on 34-38” tires to add clearance/looks pay at the pump.

Its all in the battery size. We need battery technology to make a giant leap where we can fit two to many times the energy in the same space.
And to decrease charging refueling times to a total of 20 minutes inline with ICE vehicles.
RE: Ordering a ‘23 Powerstroke
I would rather have a lower rear gear coupled with the 10 speed because the current power stroke is a brute. I read all SD above the XL will be 4 WD only.
RE: Rotten egg smell, again???
Happens when minerals react if WH is not used for a few weeks either with or without anode rod. If on full hookups just run water through water heater for 20-30 minutes and the smell will go away.
RE: Storing My Diesel Truck Over Winter Advice
I own a c7/corvette. It is parked in my garage, only driven April-Nov. it has been plugged in 24/7 since new. No battery problems yet.
