Storing ball hitch

Is there any problem in leaving the ball hitch attached to the trailer after set up. It’s out of the way, and can be locked. Does the weight of the ball hitch hanging on the trailer ball lock cause problems ?

RE: Why 30 amp and not 50 amp

We have a small tt and when hooked up to power we use electric for water heater, AC, refrigerator, wife uses hair dryer TV, and cook with electric induction cook top. Why use gas when your paying for full hookups. 50 amp instead of 30 would not add that much to the cost. Maybe it could be offered as an option.

Why 30 amp and not 50 amp

Why not build all RV’s with 50 amp service ? With AC, microwaves, electronic water heaters plus numerous other electrical appliances we take with us it seems to make More sense to have 50 amp

RE: Walkable TT roof

Our travel trailer is a 2020 Coachmen spirit model 1943. In talking to the manufacturer they said that our roof does have 3/8 Marine plywood on the roof. But still did not recommend walking on it so what’s the deal you guys have 3/8 and you can walk on them?

Walkable TT roof

Have 2020 TT call manufacturer about installing roof access ladder. Was told there was no backing to support a ladder. Also was advised not to walk on roof with out a backing board to walk on. My question is when did manufacturers start building TT with non walkable roofs. How am you supposed to do roof maintenance?

Weight distribution bars

How can you tell if the weight distribution bars are on the correct chain link? Before hitching I measured from the top of the front wheel well to the ground.37 in. Then took measurement after I hitched and it still was 37 in. Truck and trailer are level.
