RE: Dash camera recommendations

I have two of the Viofo/SpyTec A119. One in the car, one in the RV. Viofo is the OEM manufacturer. Spytec sells them under their name. Same thing.

RE: outdoor shower help

Do you have in-line shut off valves for your outside shower lines? My rig does. Has someone closed the valves? If it's a kinked shower hose, (and it's the type where the connection in inside where you can't access it from the shower box) you need to figure out where to access the hose from inside the RV.

RE: Dont Buy Dometic Slide Toppers

look on the unit see if theres a manufactures name. don,t no if dometic makes there on things or not. THIS! Figure out who really made the unit that you have. I ran into a very similar problem with my old awning. I figured out that it was really made by Fiamma, and I could buy the small part from them that I needed instead of the whole assembly.

RE: Residential fridge durability?

Samsung and 11 months, no issues, the converter keeps it running just fine on the road, but I do have to turn the ice maker off when traveling, otherwise water splashes in the freezer and then freezes in a less than desirable shape than an ice cube. Also, run it all the time when traveling, and now I am no longer one of those controversial RVers traveling with the Refr running on propane. .which I use to do all the time I'll throw my two cents in here even though I don't have a Samsung in my RV. But I do have one at home that has failed under warranty. Three and a half years old and it is un-repairable. Samsung also has several class action lawsuits going right now for refrigerator failures. I would advise any one considering a Samsung fridge, to run the other way.

RE: LED light bulbs not working when installed in slideout

Sounds like reversed polarity in the slide out wiring. LEDs must be wired with the correct polarity or they will not work.
