RE: Traveling in a group— How do you handle it?

If you both have iPhones (not sure about Androids), I'd set up "Find My" with the other travelers. With that, you can travel at your own pace but can always check and see if the other travelers are close by.

RE: Printer

Never have taken a printer while camping, but there are times it would be nice. Like when purchasing a fishing license online and it has to be printed out to be valid. As stated before, you're better off with a laser printer. An inkjet will dry out if it's not used on a periodic basis.

RE: First TT advice

Correct me if I'm wrong, but... doesn't having a WDH remove some of the weight from the hitch and distribute it to the axles of the truck and trailer? Thus reducing the amount of weight that the tongue is actually putting on the hitch. Again, correct me if I'm wrong.

RE: A/C on 20 amp

Thanks all. I've got a wedding coming up this summer and may need the trailer for housing some of the bridal party.

A/C on 20 amp

When I'm at home, I use an adapter and plug my TT into a 20 amp outlet. I've heard that you shouldn't run your A/C when only plugged into 20 amps, but the breaker for the A/C in the TT is only a 20 amp circuit. Should there be any issue running the A/C with only 20 amps, if nothing else is running? Thoughts? Thanks

RE: Awning Motor

I recently had to change the motor on my awning. I found a replacement on eBay that worked well and installed in about 5 minutes. Your mileage may vary depending on brand of awning.

RE: Travel Trailer Shopping - Newbie

Take it from someone who went through this a couple of years ago. I upgraded from a popup and had to learn the entire GVWR, Tow capacity, cargo capacity, etc... It can be somewhat daunting and confusing, but it's extremely important to know what your particular vehicle will safely tow. Once you figure that out, you can look at floor plans that suit your needs and stay within the limits of your tow vehicle.
