RE: Best route to Cass, WV from the north

OP here. Thanks again for all the suggestions. Looks like we'll combine schlep and Google getting off I81 at Winchester instead of Strasburg. Always wanted to visit Moorefield and Petersburg. Been to Seneca Rocks years ago. May just head on down to the New River Gorge while were that far south.

RE: Best route to Cass, WV from the north

By best I mean roads with a line down the middle. Thanks Mayor30. I hadn't considered that one

RE: Pittsburgh to landcaster pa without using the toll road

You could drop down I79 to Morgantown to I68 east to Hancock to I70 to Hagerstown to I81 to Harrisburg then PA581 to I283 to Lancaster. PA581 is not interstate but built to interstate standards. Non stop and usually light traffic until you get to Harrisburg. You could use US30 off I81 and make a stop in Gettysburg if you are so moved. Enjoyable drive either way. Enjoy the trip.

RE: NH to Florida in January

Not familiar with year round rv parks north of the Mason-Dixon but Falling Waters Campsites just over the Potomac River in WV is open all year as is Candy Hill in Winchester, VA. Both along I81. I'm too old to rough it in the cold so we spend the first 2 nights in motels. Used Google Maps to scope out parking and then called motel to be sure. We go to FL by way of Mobile but our first stop is at the Sleep Inn in Wytheville, VA at the intersection of I81 and I77 if you're going that far south. You may get more helpful responses if you say how far 6 hours is from home. Anyhow, hope you enjoy FL.

RE: Looking for a RV park in the Jacksonville Fl Area

Pecan Park is a nice cg. Stayed there twice. Went there because it was close to the airport. Wasn't close enough. Noise was minimal and plane spotting was disappointing because of their altitude. Different strokes for different folks.

RE: Winterizing Jayco 23' hybrid

Thanks for the helpful comments. Should have thought to look around the tank. No danger of freezing here in the foreseeable future. I'll check back with my findings soon. Camper is 90m away.
