RE: Help making a decision on truck purchase.

You won't notice any improvement in gas milage going froma 2500 to a 1500.
They are the same size. Different weight capacity. The Ford ecoboost might be a good choice. They seem to get better mileage than the V8's.
That said, I think any 5th wheel will pull better with a 2500. You will be close to max cargo weight in most 1500's.

RE: Harbor Freight 1720 lb trailer

There are other places to buy a trailer. If HF doesn,t want to sell you one, move on.

RE: Seven States to Ban the Sale of Gas Powered Cars in 2035

More ignorant politicians jumping on the BS green wagon. IF it happens 2034 will be a big sales year for ICE vehicles.
The dummies haven't said what happens to the ICE you own. Will you have to sell out if state? Wil the trade-in be worth nothing because the dealer can't sell the used unit?
If the law only applies to new units, the price of used is going to sky rocket (more than it already has).
Even if enacted ICE units will be on the road till 2055 or later.
I'll stay in Iowa where common sense prevails.

RE: Camping With Toddlers

A three year old can sleep on a dinette bed. Roll a big blanket up and place it across the open side if it will make you feel better.

RE: How to install stuff on walls

When I hung mini blinds I cut a piece of paneling 2" wide by the length of the blind. Sand an area on the wall where the same size as the blind and glued it to the wall with contact cement. You only have one shot at getting it the right place. Then drill a pilot hole and mount the blinds. That gives you twice the thickness of paneling to screw into. Glue on the screws also helps hold.

RE: Discount RV furniture source?

What "RV furniture" are you looking for?
Most furniture in RVs are junk. Go to furniture store with the measurments of where the furniture goes and shop around.
Discount furniture? Try the thrift stores.

As far as a wiring diagram: You're on your own.
No manufacturer has one. All owners manuals are worthless.

RE: moisture- help drying out

pull up the vinal floor covering under the cabinet to allow the underfloor to dry. You may need to take down the coraplast cover and insulation from under the trailer if it is wet you will never get it dry from inside.

RE: braking problem

Get the truck brakes checked NOW! The next time they fail you might be coming up to a red light at a busy intersection.
Asking for brake repair on a discussion forum won't stop the truck.

RE: TV and Internet

If it's every home, it's bad installation. Keep calling Comcast. Every time it happens.
Also call the city or county or whoever has the contract with Comcast.
If that is the only option you have for TV and internet the problem won't fix itself.

RE: The horrible roads are killing the fun.

STAY OFF THE INTERSTATE HIGHWAYS.
We have tken to traveling state and uS routes. Generally the roads are better and less traffic. The exception is US 69 in Oklahoma. Slow down and enjoy the journey,
