RE: Which one is better built. Pros and cons

I’m shopping for a older model class a diesel. I would like any feedback you can give me on these three brands Safari Sahara 1998 35 foot Winnebago Vectra 1997 35 foot Beaver Monterey 30 foot All have mileage between 70000 to 100000 miles. And appear to be in good condition for the age. I will be narrowing my choices and traveling to inspect each one. Your help will assist me in putting them in order for consideration. Thanks. John John, What is your budget? I wouldn't go to old as you end up with more things to upgrade. Always look at the date codes on the tiers. I would add in Newmar to your mix and it would be #1 0r 2 on the list like this one. https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/used-rvs-for-sale/diesel-motorhomes/2001-newmar-dutchstar_rv-42047 If you can live without slides heare is a Quality coach that would be several spaces above those listed. https://www.motorhomesoftexas.com/Pre-owned-Inventory-2000-Foretravel-Motorhome-36-U320-6964258?ref=list Just wondering why you are looking at a short coach? RE: are RV microwave ovens the same as kitchen ones?

our 2006 winnebago itasca had brackets top and bottom of the microwave oven to hold it into a 20 inch by 15 hole. do non Rv ones have the holes to screw the brackets to the microwave? thanks all I have found no difference. We have changed 2 in different coaches and the only thing different is you have to adjust the vent to blow in the right direction. The instructions are in the box. Bought both from Home Depot and were shipped free. One was a direct replacement the outher was a upgrade to a convection/microwave.You can find the dimensions of the old one and find one that will fit in the same hole. All the holes are already there, you don't need to drill new ones. Bill

RE: Who can be the last poster?

I left home a couple days early because the ground where I keep the RV was saturated and they were forecasting anouther 2-4" of rain. I didn't want to get stuck before I got to the road. Bill

RE: 50 amp

So many people giving the wrong answer to the OPs question. Amps and volts are 2 different things. You can't convert amps to volts. Think of it this way volts are the size of the line. Amps is the preshure pushing through the line. Bill

RE: 50 amp

Don't know if this is possible. Is there a converter that I can use to go from normal 110 or 220 volt to 50 amp? Well no it isn't amps and volts are 2 different things. You might do a google search on the subject. Bill
