RE: St Pete Mobile RV repair reccomendations

Why not do it yourself if it`s a "Semi Skilled" job -- I`ve worked in the RV trade for many years & I never once thought of myself as Semi skilled -- Bill Willard

RE: Mesa,Az RV Park

I live in Gilbert, next door to Mesa -- I worked in the park model business for many years & was in all the RV Parks in this area -- Gold Canyon is way East of Mesa -- Nice parks there but a long way out -- This time of year, most any park in Mesa would serve your purpose -- All the Snow Birds are long gone & the parks are mostly empty -- A lot of them are Passport America parks, so half price -- August? -- You do know it`s gonna be at least 115 don`t you -- Bill Willard

RE: Vinyl plank flooring - snap lock with history of success?

I have installed that flooring in two RV`s -- As far as I know they have worked out OK -- I did them for customers of mine & have not heard back with any complaints -- It`s time consuming in a RV -- Small working space & the trim takes as much time as the floor it`s self -- Just leave 1/4 inch or so from the walls & don`t face nail any -- Bill Willard

RE: Travel Trailer Buying/Financing Questions

Just because a RV is purchased new, does not mean it`s free of problems -- Most, if not all RV`s have some defects -- A preowned unit purchased from an individual will most likely be in road ready condition -- We`ve owned 8 RV`s since 1980, & speak from experience -- Bill Willard

RE: Recommendations for Tulsa-Tucson Route

Stay off I-40 through Texas, New Mexico & Arizona -- High elevation & snow/ice will probably be a problem -- Drop down to I-20/I-10 & you will be OK or at least, less likely to have cold weather -- Bill Willard

RE: Mesa Az resort

I live in Gilbert, AZ, next door to Mesa -- The Snowbirds are usually gone by mid April, so you should not have a problem finding a place in any of the many RV parks -- Come on down & enjoy the heat -- Bill Willard

RE: condensation or leak?

Check the bolts holding your air conditioner -- That`s often the cause of leaks toward the front, & elsewhere - Bill Willard
