RE: Generac generator quits power output...UPDATE

Went to a rally in Cashmere WA it was a 100 degrees the whole time. Every one that had 5500 generacs would shutdown when the AC was running and air temp got over 98 degrees. Turns out there is a high temp oil switch maybe yours has same problem. Almost all the units were 98-2004

RE: Boondocking near Moses Lake, WA

Go to the Washington DNR & Wildlife web sites with a descover pass for state lands for 35.00 dollars a year you can find lots of camping at no cost. Also look under fishing a lot of parking by small lakes with pit toilets. You do need the parking pass. Good luck

RE: Driving differences between 25', 31' class C's.

It all depends on the wheel base. The shorter the better for tight campgrounds and not so good for on the road. Check the overhang behind the rear axle it should be less than 50% to the wheel base for better ride an handling.

RE: Chromebook usage

Had a Chromebook, Pros, fast start up,did not need security ,cloud. Cons , poor apps, would not work with older MSN web sights or banking ,would not download from Amazon Prime or Pandora to listen music or play movies off line . So I bought a RCA 10 tablet viking pro. it uses Androd 6.0 has a mini HDMI port, keyboard. It is a little slow on loading but it dose give the ability to see movies and hear music in boondocking areas. You would be off getting something with a IOS or Androd sys.

RE: First time to S.Dakota

Where ever you are going you need to google monthly weather and if going through mountain passes most northern states want you to carry chains. After October 1.

RE: Best (aka) easiest route from Tacoma to Sequim

I lived in Moses Lake WA I would take I-90 to the WA 18 to I-5 to WA 16 to Sequim. The biggest problem is you need to be on the 18 before 1 pm. You also have to be careful going from the 5 to 16 it happens faster than you think it should. Driving in the Puget Sound area is about being in the right lane at the right time.

RE: Still can not get any channels on my TV????

If you have old style TV it will want analog signal. If it is a new flat screen it want digital or analog. Most TV now is transmitted as digital signal. You most likely need a converter box so you can have a analog signal going it your TV.

RE: Why 4 X 4

You are looking in the wrong place. I live in southern Arizona and you can't find a 4x4 down here.

RE: Frontal Area

Your frontal area is the same as figuring square footage. In this case it would be width x height. My mini van book says frontal of 40 square feet. This will let you figure out the drag of the trailer.drag

RE: Siriusxm

It makes it harder for you to cancel with them. Some cable companies do the same.

RE: Going from Class A to Class C

Been there done that. You are not going to get a better ride in a deliver truck. You may want to rent a Class C for the weekend before you buy.

RE: Dash A/C blows out of defrost when climbing or head wind

Loss of engine vacuum which is normal when the engine is under heavy load. I had the same problem on a class c 2004 chassis. When I had a leak the in the heating system it would only blow air out defroster. I had a broken vac line in the engine compartment that a pack rat chewed on.
