RE: Ford F250 frame hold downs?

I actually bought the front Torklift F2007 front hold downs on Ebay from a seller that had Best Offer option.Agreed on$376.99. When they arrived the box was damaged and some pieces had damaged power coating. Contacted seller and they credited me $65.18 back.A real bargain

RE: Ford F250 frame hold downs?

Anybody besides Torklift make hold downs? Its all I see for frame mounted. No. It's not enough of a market to be a "cheaper" alternative to Torklift. That's what I assume you're asking about, really. You're balking at the cost of the Torklift tiedowns and want something less expensive. Heck I only paid $2000 for my camper and I went with Torklifts even though they cost over 1/3 what I spent on the camper at the time. They're there if and when I upgrade. Install could not have been easier, and they work great. When did I complain of the price? I was asking because I wasn't too impressed with the welds and how loose the outter part fits into frame mounted section.

RE: 2008 Northstar Arrow 8.5

I would start with some simple troubleshooting. Unplug the unit from 120v. Begin at the batteries and check the output voltages. Trace the wires from the batteries to the converter/charger system, probably an Elixir. It is possible a battery cutoff was installed. Check the input voltage at the converter/charger. Since you have 12v power when using a 120v input, it seems the converter/charger is working and you will find a problem with the battery input to the unit. It seems to have power at batteries and at converter. No switches in sight. Do they normally switch over automatically??
