RE: Warning! Publci Toilet Hygene

Since this is an RV forum I'm surprised no one has said to use their RV's restroom rather than the public one and avoid the problem altogether.

RE: GM wants to improve trailer brakes

"trailer manufacturers would need to get on board." Hahahahahaha It appears that GM wants trailers to be equipped with disc brakes. Like that's ever going to happen. We can't even get self-adjusting drum brakes on our trailers let alone disc brakes.

RE: RV Parks in or near Fargo, ND

If anyone has stayed in Fargo, I would appreciate any recommendations on RV parks, full hookups. ThanksTap the RV Parks button at the top of this page and you can search for parks, read all about them, and read reviews.

RE: Cruise testing, I would be uncomfortable

Self driving is already here. From the TESLA website: Full Self-Driving Capability Navigate on Autopilot: automatic driving from highway on-ramp to off-ramp including interchanges and overtaking slower cars. Auto Lane Change: automatic lane changes while driving on the highway. Autopark: both parallel and perpendicular spaces. Summon: your parked car will come find you anywhere in a parking lot. Really. Coming later this year: Recognize and respond to traffic lights and stop signs. Automatic driving on city streets.

RE: Question on inner bearing grease seals

Don't use the EZ lube feature and you won't have to worry about blown seals. There is also no need for EZ lube on a trailer that is never immersed in water like a boat trailer.

RE: firewall, black expanding foam

You have a 36' ice box and the cold air from in back will work it's way up front. You need to use the house heater, also. That will warm things up nicely.

RE: utah activities for seniors

Plenty of places rent side-by-sides. Those things go anywhere and are loads of fun. Utah is a favorite place for us to take our RZR.

RE: Kirkland motor oil

Oil is oil is oil. Ignorance is bliss (so they say at least) until you have a lubrication related failure. Then you'll change your tune.... as your wallet gets emptied.Show me any documentation that the use of one oil over another, with regular oil and filter changes, caused any engine failures. You're right, there aren't any. Well there was the more recent issue with oil sold at cheapo places that did cause engine problems. The courts have agreed to combine all the various lawsuit all over the US into one class action from one major retailer who sold that junk. Although oil may be oil, SA or SB rated oil should not be used in vehicles manufactured after the 60's but it's still being sold at stores all overt the US to ignorant people. An example of a cheapo place? Business name? Oil brand name? What was the damage to the engine? Sorry just my skepticism from my 30 years as a cop that I like to see proof of some sort.

RE: 5th wheel tires

Any tire from China is junk, no other way to describe them. I put Michelin LT truck tires on my first 5th wheel and later on my current toy hauler (XPS Ribs). No tire problems in 8 years. No need to put 110 psi tires on your trailer as it doesn't weigh enuf to justify the higher pressure. Get quality, non-Chinese tires and you'll do fine.

RE: El Paso Wally docking

There's lots of shootings and criminal activity along the border. Cartel activity is heavy. You're never totally safe sleeping out in public. RV locks/door are fragile and easily overcome. If you rely on someone else for protection you're likely not to survive. Don't rely on someone else.
