RE: Basement Storage of Super Cs compared to Class As

Depends on the Class A. Diesel pushers have tons of full height, cross-coach storage which gassers lack. Many are equipped with pullout trays. Gassers have a cross-coach storage height of less than a foot. Diesels definitely win in the storage contest.

RE: Stopped to help fellow camper

I'll bet the RV dealer will (maybe) give her a new tire and nothing more. Insurance will cover the rest. So much for brand new Chinese will-pop tires. They should be outlawed.

RE: Hydraulic fluid for Lippert Ground Control

Is the level low with slides and leveling jacks retracted? If yes, then fill to line.

RE: KZ Sportsman Fifth wheel toy hauler Wiring diagram

No trailer in existence has a known published wiring diagram.

RE: Toy Hauler Recommendations

Side patio will really narrow the field. Best build quality? That would be none of them. Luxury? You'd be better off getting a diesel pusher with a huge trailer. You'd also be getting much better build quality.

RE: Hot Springs, AR to Tucson, AZ

Take any of the interstates to get to Tucson, they all work.

RE: Branson Mo to Panama City Fl.

Google didn't tell me that route at all. it gave me the option of 65 south to the 412 east then south on the 63/55 to Memphis or 65 south to the 64 east to Memphis.

RE: Service, landing gear down, or while still hooked to truck?

When I work on my trailer, when needed, I put all 6 jacks down to raise the tires off the ground. Did that today as I'm changing the suspension from Equa-Flex to E-Z Flex. I still use jack stands under the axles to be safe.

RE: Lippert 6 point hydraulic landing gear.

Some of these auto levelers have the level way off. I was auto leveling a bumper pull at one of our shows and the trailer was tilted up and the wheels were off the ground like it was taking off. I don't auto level unknown trailers any more, lol.

RE: Best wax for lazy people?

Man, I love this forum! Where else can I get five replies and at the same time no responses :) Reminds me of pretty much every campground I've been to while walking around at night and spot chatting to all the people! Especially those with the red solo cups in their hands. The second response answered your question - hire someone to do it for you since all the other replies require some sort of elbow grease. I just got done putting 2 coats of Maguier's RV/Marine wax on my 40 footer. Took a lot of effort but very worth it. And if I read it correctly, no one you ever speak to at a campground has anything worthwhile to say? So everyone else has a problem? Did I read that right? Hmmmm. BTW, I'm a red SOLO cup kind of guy.

RE: Slideout Coming in Crooked

Most likely a Schwintek system. Plenty of trouble shooting videos on the net. In your case you might try running the slide all the way out then bring it in a foot then back out. Do that 3 or 4 times and it might fix the alignment issue. You might look for the controller and check for an error code.I don't have my schwintek book with me right now but I'm pretty sure that's what you don't want to do. What you do is run it out all the way and hold the button down an extra 3 or 4 seconds after it stops. Then run it in all the way and hold the button after it stops. You do that every time you run it in or out. Never stop when it is part way in or it.OK, call Lippert and tell them their video is wrong. When one side is moving differently than the other side you want to re-time the motors and what I previously posted is exactly what Lippert wants a person to do. LINK

RE: SLIDE OUT PROBLEM

First off you got to know what slide system you have. Cable? Schwintek? Something else? If it's Schwintek and it's off 8 inches then got some serious issues. If it's cable then you might just need an adjustment. If it's hydraulic/electric you might have something blocking the top from coming in. For future reference you might want to check in which forum you're posting your question. Currently you're in the Forum Posting Help and Support when you should be in Tech Issues.

RE: Traveling with glass

Keep an eye on the glass plate in your microwave. I was delivering a motorhome and was on a rough road when the microwave door opened and the plate fell out and broke. Turns out the microwave door doesn't have a way to lock, just an easy pull on the handle and it opens. If you have one of those I'd take the plate out and lay it on the bed.

RE: Chatanooga Bound

Go to Trip advisor for a listing of things to do. Go to the top of this page and press the RV Parks button to search for RV parks.
