RE: Poor to Terrible WIFI

I quit using the park's wifi and use my phone's hotspot in stead.

RE: HOW MANY RV CAMPGROUND Search Links?

Don't forget the easy one, the RV PARKS button at the top of this page. No brainer. What the OP should have done is come up with a poll to see which sites are used the most. I use the RV PARKS button the most because I find what I'm looking for.

RE: plugging access holes while at at camp sites

Use some of that expansion foam used for insulation.

RE: Sticker price vs MSRP on trucks

To me they are the same. Where I work, the RV's have MSRP (sticker price) and sale price posted.

RE: Huge damage award - posted without comment

I'm sure that if we keep an eye on this story we'll learn that the jury award will be contested and the amount reduced. BTW, the RV transport industry is so hurting for drivers (pay is extremely low) they'll hire almost anyone.

RE: How much does 30+ feet actually effect ability to find space

I'm 40' and never been turned away. With my truck hooked up I'm more like 58' and still never been turned away from a campsite.

RE: How big is too big?

My truck and toyhauler total about 58' and we don't have any problems with RV parks. Except in the national Parks, I can't see where a 30 footer would have any issues.

RE: Interstate 5 or Hwy 99 through Calif

I've done both and prefer the 5.

RE: Trail Ridge Road - Will It Be Open...

Big storm coming through in a couple of days to add more snow.

RE: Bucking with Anderson Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection

A 5th wheel is designed the same as a teeter-totter, of course it's gonna buck.

RE: Camping in the upper Peninsula of Michigan.

The Soo locks at Sault Ste. Marie were fascinating, watching the huge ships come and go. We stayed at the city owned park, Aune-Osborn

RE: Broken/ leaking exhaust manifold bolts

It's somewhat easy to do but get a mechanic if you don't know what you're doing.

RE: Now that you have arrived in FLORIDA now what?

I like to use Trip Advisor. It will tell you things to do, places to stay, places to eat, and rank them based on user reviews, in all 50 states.

RE: Finding a CAMPSITE in Florida

I can push the RV PARKS button at the top of this page and find all I need to know to plan a camping trip without a trip to an RV dealer. My experience is you need reservations before arriving in Florida, at least for a semi-nice rv park. They fill up fast.

RE: Newbie question about retracting all the legs

If I'm not mistaken, my auto leveler will stop the downward motion of the nose if the angle is too much from level.

RE: Best RV route map

My Google Map says to go east from Twin Lakes to the 24 then north to I-70 then west the 82 then south to Aspen. It did not try to route me the short way.

Best joke thread of the day.

RE: peak traffic times in cities

please be more specific. 3 and 6? I assume that is not in the morning. What about in the morning. Does this apply to all cities or is this just your opinion? When I leave Tucson I plan to hit Phoenix after 900am. When I pull into SoCal I try to do so before 3pm. Pretty much applies to any large city I've visited. It's really common sense, as others have said, to avoid morning and afternoon rush hour.

RE: peak traffic times in cities

Yes, a clock. Stay away between 3 and 6.
