RE: I'm In College Football Haven Over Here!

I only watched 2 college football games yesterday and they were OSU/Indiana & MSU/Arizona State. Ohio State handled business as I expected by completely dominating Indiana and was able to get the 2nd. & 3rd. string player playing time/snaps in the 2nd. half. However, I found the MSU/Arizona State game much more interesting as MSU lost 10 - 7 in a real defensive battle. I was rooting for Michigan State as I live here in Michigan and MSU is a BIG10 school. MSU missed (3) Field Goals and made several critical mistakes that literally cost them the game. I really wanted to watch the LSU game, but it was NOT televised up here! However LSU won and I know that Charlie D. is happy this Sunday morning! Bags.

RE: I'm In College Football Haven Over Here!

Tom, and all the so called experts have picked Michigan to win the BIG10 East, BIG10 Championship, beat Ohio State, & make the top 4 for the National Championship! According to my calculations the Maize & Blue have 6-7 very tough football games left on their schedule: Wisconsin, Iowa, MSU, OSU, PSU, N.D., & Maryland!

RE: I'm In College Football Haven Over Here!

I watched (4) football games yesterday, Ohio St./Cincinnati, Mich./Army, Nebraska/Colorado, & last but not least LSU/Texas. My Buckeyes totally dominated Cincinnati ranked 27th. in America and had a 11&2 record last year and opened the season with a win over UCLA. Mich. squeaked by ARMY in 2nd overtime 24-21. Nebraska/Colorado was a rivalry game that I thought Nebraska was going to win, but Colorado game roaring back to beat the Cornhuskers! LSU/Texas was one heck of a game and LSU QB Joe Burrow played out of his mind. Joe was absolutely FANTASTIC!! I know for sure that my Texas Buddie Crarlie D. is happy as a lark today with that BIG LSU win! Let me tell ya, LSU is the real deal. Bags.

Charlie, just like you, I'm extremely disappointed with Zeke being a selfish player! I think all the good things that have happened to him has gone to his head and none of us true Buckeye fans condone his off the field behavior! I will continue to follow the LSU Tigers and I hope Joe Burrow leads LSU to a SEC Championship! Who knows, perhaps OSU & LSU will meet in the National Championship Playoff. Best, Chuck.

RE: I'm In College Football Haven Over Here!

The most entertaining game I saw last night was Auburn vs Oregon. If you didn't watch this game, then you missed an excellent college football game. I didn't have a favorite in this game, but I was entertained to the very last second of the 4th. Qtr. I taped the LSU game and will watch it later on today, but former OSU QB Joe Burrow played extremely well, from what I saw on ESPN! Bags.

I'm In College Football Haven Over Here!

I'm watching several games and the ones I'm not watching, I'm recording them on our DVR to be watched in the middle of the night when I can't sleep or just during the Labor Day weekend. I'm 100% certain that many of you RV.NET college football fans are also watching your favorite team or teams that perk your interest! For this old Bagman, I'm as happy as a Lark! Bags.

RE: College F.Ball Current Top 10 Recruiting Rankings

Great seeing you back on the Sports board Charlie! Just like you, I want to see LSU have a great 2019 Football season and they have an excellent 2020 recruiting class thus far, even better than my "Buckeyes!" However, I just woke up from a 4th. of July nap and OSU just landed the #2 football player in Indiana, so they picked up 2 Blue Chippers today. The latest one is Josh Fryer on offensive lineman who can play C, OG, or OT. He is very athletic at 300 pounds and plays on his H.S. Basket Ball team as well as Track & Field. Believe it or not, he also is a great punter! YVGF, Chuck/Bags.

Ohio State just landed today Michigan's 2018 H.S, Player of the year Cameron Martinez and I watched his video and he has speed to burn! Reminds me of Paris Campbell! Bags.

RE: College F.Ball Current Top 10 Recruiting Rankings

Periodically I'm going to give you all an update on the TOP 10 or TOP 12 recruiting rankings, probably the 1st. day of each month, because there will always be constant movement up and down between now and national Signing day in February 2020. Bags.

College F.Ball Current Top 10 Recruiting Rankings

These ranking for the 2020 recruiting class is simply a picture of where things are right now! It could change as early as tonight, tomorrow, or any day next week. However, I think they are very important. See below: Team/School # of Recruits Ave. Recruit Ranking #1 Clemson--- 18--- 94.56 #2 Alabama--- 20--- 93.19 #3 LSUniv.--- 20--- 92.47 #4 Ohio St.--- 15--- 92.62 #5 Georgia--- 14--- 92.71 #6Michigan--- 20--- 89.55 #7 N. Dame--- 15--- 91.10 #8 FloridaU--- 18--- 89.75 #9Miami Fl--- 19--- 88.75 #10PennSt--- 16--- 89.10 What I take from this is Clemson has recently won 2 Nat'l Championships & prospects want to play for a winner! I also found it interesting that the SEC has 4 schools in the Top 10, BIG10 3, & ACC 2. LSU has a good start as does Georgia & Ohio State. Another factor to consider is the ave. Recruit Ranking & Clemson also is #1 in that category. My team is the OSU Buckeyes & I expect them to finish in Feb. 2020 in the Top 5. Used

RE: NFL Draft

Charlie, actually Mike Weber is an excellent RB and will be very comfortable as a backup to the #1 RB at the Dallas Cowboys "Zeke", who he backed up at Ohio State! It was a good solid pick for your Cowboys! Chuck.

Charlie & all, (3) more Buckeyes signed Free Agent contracts with NFL teams. And I see 2 of the 3 making the squad. Bags.

RE: NFL Draft

So far (9) Buckeyes drafted into the NFL. Since 2000, both LSU & OSU have had (20) wide receivers drafted into the NFL. Ok, it looks like (9) Buckeyes were drafted and I expect several more Buck to be sign as undrafted Free Agents! Like Johnny Dixon for example.

RE: NFL Draft

Charlie, I thought Haskins would have gone #6 to the N.Y. Giants, but the Redskins stadium is only 27-28 miles away from where he played his H.S. ball. The most important thing is what kind of Pro career one has in the NFL. Don't forget, Tom Brady was NOT a high 1st. Round Draft Pick! Quite frankly I have much confidence in "Simba" Dwayne Haskins! Bags.

RE: The Long (6) Month Wait For College Football!!!!!!!!!!!!

Believe it or not, the Vegas odds makers have Michigan as a 6.5 point favorite over Ohio State this year (November). I'll take does odds any day! Bags.
