RE: Troubleshooting Propane Problem

It may have been put on there because the prior owner had a problem with junk in the propane. Remove it, clean it, and reinstall it with the correct tape.

RE: RV parts shortages

There are shortages in all things in my area. Half the gas stations are out and one that I stopped at today had regular 87 octane only. No bread on shelves. No frozen food in freezers. Beef is hard to find. Thankfully medicine has not yet been short.

RE: Extended Warranty: Why do I need it?

You should tell the dealer that you don't want any any see if you get the agreed upon deal. You should also let them know you don't appreciate them adding to the deal. Do a good exam of the rig and get everything fixed before anything changes hands. That means tradein or deposit. Only take delivery and sign papers after all is fixed.

RE: Kohler 5CKM21 no compression in both cylinders

Have you checked the lash on the valves both intake and exhaust?

RE: Kohler 5CKM21 no compression in both cylinders

OK final thoughts are you need to check the valve lash and lastly it could be bad head gaskets. Anything else and it's going to get expensive.

RE: Kohler 5CKM21 no compression in both cylinders

Can't find manual on that model but some had a automatic compression release that were made to work with a spring and/or exhaust gear. Have you tried calling Kohler?

RE: How to carry blackstone griddle

I clean my 17 after each use. It has a cover that I just close.

RE: 5er accidents

Couldn't disagree more on the comments to drive at the speed of traffic. You see I'm towing and most of the traffic isn't. We should drive at a speed that is manageable by someone who is towing a RV.

RE: generator

You need to get with Gjac above his Kohler won't start at all and you can't keep yours from starting.

RE: Kohler 5CKM21 no compression in both cylinders

Did you pull the plugs to see if the pistons are moving up and down as they should? I know you said they were dry but did you check the pistons?

RE: Help buying a small travel trailer

You are asking a lot while only providing a limited towing capacity of only 5000 pounds. You are likely to exceed several weight limits. Good luck in your search and let us know what you settle on.

Tank heaters or short somewhere or light in one of your storage compartments.

RE: Gassing Your Gasser

As noted above Costco is a good choice also due to their design. I haven't found Sam's in this area well designed. In fact they can be tight entering or pulling out. Costco is designed more like a truck stop but dedicated to fuel only.
