RE: When you accidently turn your Truck Camper Fridge off

Not in a truck camper but in one of the rigs we have owned.
My wife would regularly turn our fridge off by accident. The door had a very strong magnet and she would use her right hand to push while pulling with her left hand. It must have been a common problem for others as the manufacturer later installed a clear cover over the buttons.
Problem solved.

RE: Old Timer RVing

My wife and I both not far behind you. We have a small trailer we enjoy using. We are selective on types of weather conditions and also avoid holidays.
I say if you feel like you want to get back into RVing then do so just be aware it has changed a little out there.

How do you remove nylon lock nuts?
Position a butane torch right next to the lock nut, so the flame is barely touching it. Hold it in place until you smell the nylon in the center of the lock nut beginning to melt.

RE: generator damages AC, other electornics

I understood that was true for a generator that used rpm to determine voltage but not true for modern inverter generators.

RE: NuCamp T@B320 S vs. Little Guy Mini-Max

We had a tab boondock and it was a way to small for us. Shower and toilet were nearly useless due to size.
Everything worked fine but far too small and shape of teardrop made usable room even smaller.
The minimax appears a little larger but not enough.
We currently have a Airstream Bambi 16rb while not any longer has much more usable space and we can stand in both bath and rest of rv.
Look at a small square rv and you will have more usable space and save some money.

RE: Can't get key fob for a sprinter

We just bought a new car and were given only one key fob and were told a second would be provided later with no time-line. Reason was shortage of chips. Cost of new car north of 70 grand.

RE: Is a roof leak covered by warranty?

Unfortunately water can leak and travel some distance before it actually exits the ceiling. The ac gasket would be my first guess for a leak. You may want to tighten the bolts a turn to make sure your ac hasn't loosened up. Don't tighten them much at a time.
Walmart has tarps that you can cover sections with.

RE: Handheld air compressor

Viair is the top of the line for handheld. There are several different models which vary by volume and pressure.
I have used several different brands over the years on everything from motorhomes to boat trailers.
For us there is no need for a tank compressor.

RE: Is a roof leak covered by warranty?

Please describe more. How do you know it is the roof leaking? Where do you see the water coming from? Earlier you had a shower leaking. Perhaps the two are related.
If it isn't caused by something you did like hooking the roof on a tree limb then yes it should be covered by warranty within the first few months of ownership.
Be sure to limit any damage by covering it and getting it to dealer asap.
