RE: Were back in a travel trailer, just bought an Airstream.

Our first Airstream was a 25 ft. Model. Wish we stI'll had it. Bought it new. We have also owned a 19 and a 23 and now own a 16. The 25 is a perfect size and can be towed by a 1/2 ton pu. Enjoy your new camper and stay safe. I will take you up on your offer if we cross paths.

RE: new mattress needed, any reason to buy from camping world?

Would you shop for a camper at mattress World? Determine size and find a mattress maker. They can make any type you want and quickly.

RE: ANWR Drilling Stopped

I've been to ANWR. You arent missing much. Most impressive mosquitos i have ever seen in my life and i've spent considerable time on the gulf coast post hurricanes. Kaktovik is a hole. Try to see it by helicopter if you can. Sadlerochit Mtns are fun. Grayling fishing was beyond excellent. Any kin to Tody?

RE: Camp Margaritaville

Sevier County had very strict alcohol laws until the last few years. I recall not being able to get a beverage with our Mexican food a few years ago. Jimmy has made a fortune on the southern latitudes concept. There is nothing unfriendly towards families in his sites. To each his own.

RE: ANWR Drilling Stopped

Prevented another ExxonMobil Valdez 1000 times over. Exploring, drilling, and production of oil is a dirty business. Take that from someone who grew up and worked in the oil patch. There are plenty of leases in the US that they can drill without this one. You can take that from someone who lives in a state that is totally leased by oil companies including offshore.

RE: Camp Margaritaville

Been watching that property for years and wondered why the building was vacant. Great location and I am sure it will prosper if managed properly.

RE: Is the Verizon Jetpack still a decent choice for an RV?

You could try Visible with their cell phone trade and the party pay program. The cell phone could be a hotspot and if 4 people are in party pay your cost is only $25 total with unlimited talk texting and DATA. Runs on Verizon towers as it is owned by Verizon.

It's a wonderful day: COVID vaccinations

its a great day and is getting better as we go on. We were able to get on a covid 19 vaccine list and expect to get the first one next week. That means that after the second one we can get out of the house a little more while practicing safety measures. Just in time for the mutation. Our area is right at the 10% positive rate. Wish everyone who wants the shots can get them sooner rather than later.

RE: Traveling in 23 ft trailer with cat

Just be sure the cat is in someone's arms or in a closed crate before extending or retracting slides.

RE: Is this doable or am I overlooking something??

When we owned a mh we regularly ran the second ac on a different plug at the pedestal. We never had any complaints from the cg. We traveled all over the U S.

RE: Quality Decline since Covid

Lot rot. It is more pronounced on a poorly made unit.

RE: TCs and Covid Vaccinations

I got so many shots in the Army, this one is nothing,I won't be standing in line with both tshirt sleaves rolled up with exploding blood vessels from the air guns,in front of me...:( Remember this well. Also recall the TB test needles that were a small needle with a bulb holding the reagent. They gave 4 injections just under the skin on the under side of both forearms. They used the same needle on 180 men at least. They held the needle over a candle or alcohol burner to sterilize between men. The needle would sizzle when it went into your arm.

RE: Towing Advice

It is most likely you have exceeded the capacity of the tow vehicle.

RE: TCs and Covid Vaccinations

I am always happy to hear that some people don't want the vaccine as hopefully it will move my wife and myself closer to the front of the line. Using your camper as a base sounds like a excellent idea.
