RE: Are Ground Bonding Plugs required for Each Inverter/Genny?

When I parallel my Hondas it only takes 1 (one) bonding plug. Either generator and your EMS will see a common ground.

RE: Need help - Weight distribution hitch installation pics

There's a sticky on this forum that may help you: wdh setup Good Luck I think Lynnmor's instructions will do it.

RE: suburban water heater switch wires

To check element I believe you can remove one wire from the element and then check across screws for continuity. Should be 13.2 or more.

RE: Does the Color of an HD Pickup Make a Difference?

white is most popular and I would think easiest to sell.

RE: Endurance Tires

If you have the clearance above and the space between the tires I don't see a problem.

RE: New Reflection 150 260RD - Running fridge while on the road

I'm sure in todays litigious society that instruction in the manual is based on CYA. These refrigerators snuggle enough to cool let alone turn them off while traveling. We always travel with ours on.

RE: Do They Make 5th Wheels Like This Anymore??

It may be old but how many new 5th wheels come with their own roof mounted wind turbine? ;)

RE: Hot water tank drain plug

Open the vent on the hot water heater and your low point water drains. The water will then drain from the heater. Or at least mine does. Draining thru the low point drain is a good way to get all that sediment in the tank into your water lines. I would avoid that method.

RE: Views on when to/not to allow a dog to be social

For us it's more about the handler than the dog. People that use the extended length leashes and let their dogs roam at the end are avoided by us. My dog seems to see these as a loose dog and goes on alert. If a dog is properly leashed and controlled by their owner we have no problem letting them socialize. They can run free(in a confined area) after they have met and show they can get along.

RE: Hot water tank drain plug

The plug on your water heater is made of nylon for a reason(galvanic corrosion). Don't change that. If you change anything make sure the connection to the tank is still nylon or the metal your tank is made of.

RE: Rusty grille - How to avoid

I would clean it and then put a light coat of oil on it. That's what I do to my Blackstone and it does not rust.

RE: Suggestions for a Weight Distribution Hitch

Equalizer with pads for the L Brackets. Love mine and who cares if it makes noise if it's doing it's job?

RE: 30amp Gen/50 Amp RV Generator Help

Make a neutral bonding plug yourself for a couple of dollars. Watch here starting at 1:45 plug https://i.imgur.com/vcW1Fb3l.jpg

RE: Mechanics backed up for weeks all over?

Lack of new car availability has made many repair their cars. Two friends both own auto shops and can't keep up. Parts availability is another problem.

RE: A cautionary tale... Pack a "Go Bag"

Good advice. We always keep two "72 hour backpacks" ready at home and important papers in an easy to grab location, but your situation I am not prepared for...but I will be now. Thanks for the advice.

RE: 50 amp TT with generator

Quite possible your EMS would not allow your genny to power your trailer. If your EMS shows an open ground just use a neutral bonding plug which you can make yourself.

RE: Brand New, Just beginning process

Look...Find a floor plan that you think will fit your needs. Almost all mfg.'s offer the same floor plans. Now go look at the floor plan you like made by different mfg.'s. They ALL have their short comings. Once you find a brand that appeals to you more than the others start looking for used. Remember...This is your first trailer. You may not get everything you want, but it will let you decide if RVing is for you. You can always get another(like most of us) down the road. Good luck

RE: New Chevy / GMC 3500HD options

Does the 3500 sit higher than the 2500? We are about ready to order one as well and don't know what to expect. Do they just charge you full MSRP? Is there an option to get rid of the amber lights on top of the cab for the Denali or High Country?
