RE: Backup Camera

I have seen folks wire them into the backup lights. I thought that a slick way to go until I looked at my trailer and realized that I don't have backup lights. My umbilical cord has the connection for backup lights but it ends at the front of the trailer. :( If your trailer has backup lights that would be another option. Actually the furron has a 5 in camera which for me was the happy spot for me the 4in too small, the 7 too big, the 5 just right. Love the camera

RE: questions about antennas

thanks for all the great info. May look into adding the winegard. There is already a hole from the jack antenna. I'll have to get up on the roof and see if I can install the antenna. (not sure if its worth the money and work.) Thanks for all of the replies. If anybody has any more ideas please post away. Thanks.

RE: questions about antennas

Read the manual and see if it something you want to do. Installation Thats what I want to do. Just not sure if its doable. Will the sensor fit into the hole that the jack is in, will it fit on the roof etc. Has anybody made the change. Also what about those new flat amplified antennas I have seen on tv and amazon. Will that work. easy to install and a lot cheaper.

questions about antennas

My trailer has a antenna that looks like a jack antenna, but its not a jack its some garbage. What I got with my winegard, I get less then half now. Yes the amplifier is on and works. is it hard to put up a winegard sensor 3 in its place? I was wondering if anyone has tried one of the flat powered antenna?hoe was your reception. If you found a good one that received say 40 to 50 miles what was it? Thanks in advance.

RE: Furrion Back-up Camera

I have installed the Furion 7" observation camera with two maker light cameras on my 32 'Fifth Wheel. I love the system and wish I would have installed it earlier it would have saved some arguments when parking in the campground. I have a 5in screen a little cheaper then the 7 and works great. Not too big and not too small.

RE: A/c thermostat keeps getting touched by mistake.

I think I will just tell them to keep their HANDS OFF OF THE THERMOSTAT. i WILL PUT A RED LABEL OVER THE thermostat. If that doesn't work I will look into a cover.

RE: A/c thermostat keeps getting touched by mistake.

paper would be too thin. Maybe a piece of cardboard would work.

A/c thermostat keeps getting touched by mistake.

Hi All. I have a led thermostat on the wall next to the bathroom door. More than once someone has touched the touch screen and have turned off the a/c, and one time changed it from a/c to heat. That really sucked. Its a · ?Dometic led touchscreen thermostat. Any ideas to keep this from happening. I am considering a lock cover. Most of them are really big and I don't really need to lock it.Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

RE: Help with new TT list

I have a Radiance 28qb By cruiser rv it the model line above the shadow cruiser. So far I have had just a couple of minor problems, that I fixed myself. There is very little info on them because they are a small company. There are a couple of people on this forum that have shadow cruiser and they said they did have any major problems with their riggs. It's all about the layout. We have the bunkhouse and the grand kids love it as we do to. The Radiance has a little more quality.

RE: LED Bulbs for trailer interior in a real store, not online?

walmart has a good selection also your automotive stores as well all would be cheaper then camping world. Amazon has a great return policy and they have good reviews so you would know if it would work for you.

RE: Proper Protocol for “Complimentary Roof Inspection”

But some 4" Eternabond tape and seal over all of your joints and sealant. Follow the directions and you won't have to worry about failed sealant again. I did this to both of our FW's and in five years haven't had to touch it. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^This the best advice!!! I will do the same to my new TT

RE: Tires for Shadow Cruiser 260BHS

Thanks for the reply My trailer is a Radiance by Cruiser RV I don't think those tires are on My trailer, but the ones on my trailer is also some strange name, I had never heard of. I only have 1200 miles on mine, and am not sure if I will keep them after the first year.

RE: TT Bike rack for truck with topper

the other possibility, they sell front mounted hitch receivers. You could put one of those on the front of your vehicle and you would not have a turning radius problem and you could put on any receiver mounted bike mount you wanted.

RE: Winegard Playmaker

get the pathway x2. Its a little bigger but it can hit both birds and supports 2 receivers. It also does a little better in the rain.
