RE: Help with new TT list

I have a Radiance 28qb By cruiser rv it the model line above the shadow cruiser. So far I have had just a couple of minor problems, that I fixed myself. There is very little info on them because they are a small company. There are a couple of people on this forum that have shadow cruiser and they said they did have any major problems with their riggs. It's all about the layout. We have the bunkhouse and the grand kids love it as we do to. The Radiance has a little more quality.

RE: LED Bulbs for trailer interior in a real store, not online?

walmart has a good selection also your automotive stores as well all would be cheaper then camping world. Amazon has a great return policy and they have good reviews so you would know if it would work for you.

RE: Proper Protocol for “Complimentary Roof Inspection”

But some 4" Eternabond tape and seal over all of your joints and sealant. Follow the directions and you won't have to worry about failed sealant again. I did this to both of our FW's and in five years haven't had to touch it. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^This the best advice!!! I will do the same to my new TT

RE: Tires for Shadow Cruiser 260BHS

Thanks for the reply My trailer is a Radiance by Cruiser RV I don't think those tires are on My trailer, but the ones on my trailer is also some strange name, I had never heard of. I only have 1200 miles on mine, and am not sure if I will keep them after the first year.

RE: TT Bike rack for truck with topper

the other possibility, they sell front mounted hitch receivers. You could put one of those on the front of your vehicle and you would not have a turning radius problem and you could put on any receiver mounted bike mount you wanted.

RE: Winegard Playmaker

get the pathway x2. Its a little bigger but it can hit both birds and supports 2 receivers. It also does a little better in the rain.

RE: Afraid to Mount TV bracket

Many brands of trailers have a piece of thin steel sheet metal just under the wallboard. Use a strong magnet to find and outline that piece of steel and then mount the TV using sheet metal screws that only penetrate the wall by about 1/2". If there is no piece of sheet metal to be found, then you would need to use a stud finder and use screws that are less than wall thickness. Before you do anything, we should know if you have laminated sidewalls with aluminum framing, or "stick & tin" walls with wood studs and aluminum siding. Thank you for that piece of great info. I wanted to put a small tv in the bunkroom, but was concerned about where to put the bracket. With the info on the metal plate. I checked the back wall, and there was a piece of metal that I can mount a tv bracket on. Great info. thanks for that.

RE: Tongue Jack

I had that problem, its a bad ground. make sure where the ground wire is is on bare metal, scrape the paint and use a star washer to help make the ground better,The reason it works connected to the vehicle is the ball is a good ground and when using shore power you are using a different ground. hope they helps.

RE: heater vent in outdoor kitchen

Thanks for the replies. Thats what I was thinking as well. I will more than likely make a cover for it. When I winterize I do run the pink stuff through the faucet and trap.

heater vent in outdoor kitchen

Hi all I have a new trailer. I took it out for a week on spring break. I found something I think is a little strange. It has a heater vent in the outdoor kitchen. What is the purpose. I am thinking maybe to keep the outdoor kitchen sink from freezing. I don't think one little vent would do a very good job.. I am thinking about covering up that vent so more heat could be put to better use. What do y'all think?

RE: Can't bring TT home because of neighbors parking in street?

maybe you could mount a trailer hitch to the front of you tow vehicle. Then maneuvering that trailer will be a lot easier.

RE: Parked Travel Trailer

If you are not sure you could have a mobile RV tech give it good inspection, might cost a few bucks, but would give peace of mind.

RE: TT Roof Leak

I would go with wanderingaimlessly idea. Exactly what I would do. eternabond is amazing stuff. Go to there website, and watch some youtube clips on it. You can do it yourself. It may take a day or 2 but it is doable and not too costly, and it may last a long time if done right.

RE: Hello, Question on Radiance Trailers

I just bought a radanince 28qd. There is not much about them. They are a small rv company. One user said there was a lot of bad reviews, initially I thought the same, but after review a little longer, I found 36 bad reviews. Now for me 36 out of thousands is not bad. I saw that the radiance has a lot of bells and whistles that other models did not. King bed, 40 in tv, 2 a/cs, the main one 15000 btu the master bedroom 13500 btu, 4 bunks in a real bedroom, with a door an electric stabilizer legs, bed rooms with real doors, outside kitchen, a 4 bunk room with its own dresser and solid door, and solid wood cabinets not particle board barrel room high ceilings, electric awning outside lighted speakers, electric front jack, lots of storage and a pull out bed with no bar hitting your back. All these reasons. I bought it and the price was outstanding. The only thing I did not like is the small black and gray tanks. and a smallish bathroom. So I took my chances. I took it out once with no problems and I have a spring break trip to Galvaston 500 miles one way. that will tell me if I got a good deal. I think I did. I also love the casement with the led lighting The tall ceilings and nice pantry. The trailer was 25,000. When I went to register here in oklahoma tag office said the lowest price I could use for tax purpose was 33,000.00 So I feel like I got a good deal. Come back in a year and ask the same question. I hope that helps, you make a decision. I ask the same question and got 2 replys. Both were pretty positive.
