RE: Nascar Follies

Could Comcast be a suitor for FRANCECAR?

RE: Liquid roof.....so many reviews, good and bad

Discdotr, looking at the application information on the site, Liquid Rubber can be applied to different substrates and materials. Where as the Liquid Roof, requires a catalyst and I believe when talking to them, it was only recommended for coverage over EPDM. They were very good to talk to and answered questions I had.

RE: Is this possible?

If you were to stay in Arizona and buy from a private party, there is no sales tax. But if you need to be in Palm Springs area, it wouldn't work since when you title it in Cali. the tax would have to be paid.

RE: Corvettes on main street

They should have transported the wrecked one from the Detroit race last week that the GM employee trashed! It would have been crowd drawer for a look/see.

RE: NBA Why Golden State Sweeped Cleveland?

Well Bagman, Cavs don't have the talent level of the Dubs. LeBron played with a hand injury after the first game, which certainly didn't deminish his output. The part I liked about the injury was it never leaked out until after the sweep. Then you have J. R. Smith's brain fade at the end of the game. Kyle Kover not being able to get off his three pointers quick enough leading to bricks. And probably above all, and no he is not on the floor, but Dan Gilbert who to me is a complete H. A.

RE: August Crowds?

If you get going in the AM. you can avoid quite a bit of crowding. The line in West Yellowstone usually starts to back up at 9:30 AM. For some reason people have trouble getting their butts on the road early and not hanging out in the Three Bear Pancake joint for breakfast.

RE: US-2 east of Sandpoint, ID

Between Libby and Kalispell you could and will run into some slow going. Two lane and very dangerous to pass. We use US 2 occasionally the opposite way you are going and it is beautiful. Just don't be in a hurray and by all means pay attention to posted speed limits.

RE: Camping World and RV Store Parking

The year or two old CW on I-15 in Idaho Falls is a complete joke. Ever since CW started selling RV's the parking has gone away. Another outfit that uses the same plan is U-Haul.

RE: Nascar Follies

Geez, Thomas, never thought about that. Maybe this winter they will have him do some remedial driving on the GM test track that is located on the Yuma Proving Ground outside Yuma,AZ. I'll have to watch for a runaway Vette crossing US 95! Hopefully, he won't drive over to Michigan International for an instant replay this weekend.

RE: Black Tank Flush Plugged

Remove the flusher from the tank. Re-drill the small holes out, check to see if water passes, if so, re-install.

RE: Nascar Follies

I tuned in just after the Corvette fiasco and they were at break. After returning to live footage, all Allen Bestwick would say it was a guest celebrity driving the 1st pace car backed up by a second regular pace car driven by Oriel Serva. It continued with no name mentioned, "just a celebrity". After the news finaly came out that it was a Generous Motors exec, I guess the signage everywhere for Chevrolet and a sponsor bought the exec time. Being at the GM head shed Monday AM would have been priceless!

New RV Park Proposed for Kalispell, MT.

A new RV park is proposed on the south end of Kalispell, MT. Also, another smaller RV park is being built just outside the west side of Glacier National Park. I know we will be still using the Kalispell Elks Lodge just up the street from the proposed park. http://www.dailyinterlake.com/local_news/20180605/50-acre_rv_park_planned_in_south_kalispell

RE: Nascar Follies

Thomas, correct you are about the bath Charlotte is taking on the HOF. Also like how they jury rigged the races entered by Jeff Gordon, scrubbing the eight races he entered after he "retired", so he and Smoke Stewart wouldn't be on the HOF ballot in the same year. Reminds me of the NASCAR rule book! Not to worry about Ms. Patrick, when she feels she isn't relevant in racing, going by the her quotes at Indy, and her ego takes a big hit, she will be unretired.

RE: NFL considering a 15 yard penalty for kneeling

I've been thinking about this for awhile. If there is a concert in a stadium do they play the National Anthem before the concert begins? This thing that is in the vogue now "Hamilton", I believe it might be a musical but I'm uncouth so I don't know for sure, do they play the National Anthem before it kicks off? I saw the Bob Hope show in Vietnam and I don't recall the National Anthem being played before his humor started. Just asking!

RE: what is there to see and do in Pennsylvania

All I Could Afford, out of Hustontown off PA RT 655,is an abandon tunnel from years ago from the old pike. Way off the beaten path, and gives you an eerie feeling walking in the end, damp, sort of dark, until you are far enough in to see the opposite end. I believe it is in Fulton County but not certain.

RE: NFL considering a 15 yard penalty for kneeling

Targa, as an Indy 500 fan and seeing the race in person numerous times, I understand what you are saying. But while standing for the National Anthem there, the TV cameras never show how many folks don't even get off their butts or remove their hat! Also, go to the 500 Festival Parade on Saturday and note how many don't even stand when the flag is going by. This sure isn't limited to Indy, believe me. I remember several years ago Tony George brought in Steven Tyler to sing the National Anthem. The booing was tremendous and with the American Legion headquarters in Circle City, Tony really took a beating in both the media and fans.

As a former 50 plus year resident of the Keystone, my favorite saying was "the turnpike should pay me to drive that POS" not me pay them!

RE: what is there to see and do in Pennsylvania

Gettysburg Battlefield, Valley Forge, Hershey Chocolate and Hershey Park, Lancaster County, pretzel and potato chip factories in York and Lancaster Counties, Green Dragon Market, Harley Davidson plant in York, Liberty Bell in Philly, Steam Train in Scranton. If your a sprint car racing fan, try Lincoln Speedway in New Oxford, Williams Grove, Port Royal, Eastern Motorsports Museum near Dillsburg. Drag races at Maple Grove near Reading. Raystown Lake. So much history in the state. This is just off the top of my head in a few minutes.
