RE: Light switch

On/off and speed control for ceiling fan.

RE: Norcold settlement

I stand corrected. The check stub said this was the 3rd of 4 payments.

RE: Should I get a 2020 GM 3500 DRW or a 4500?

Check with the Arizona DMV. Both will be registered as commercial. On my 3500 I had to declare the max weight I would have and the fees are derived from that. Dave

RE: Norcold settlement

Too bad it is the last payment!

RE: How level when towing

With 8" of bed rail clearance, I would drop the hitch down 1 notch and see what happens.

RE: Anybody have experience with Pride fifth wheels

I had a 2001 Fleetwood Triumph which was essentially the same thing as a Pride. It was very well built and had a lot of first class options.

RE: Trailer and truck ride height

If you are fully loaded for camping and sitting like that, I would leave it alone.

RE: Need help recommendations

If it was caused by an installation error, you should try to reset the unit and check the internal fuses after you isolate it from the troubled installation.

RE: Electrical smell from water heater

Check the on/off button on the water heater body. They burn up all the time.

RE: Generator assistance

I have a Yamaha 6300. It runs both ac's just fine. However, it is big and heavy. I have relegated it to my house back up genny and use a 3500w Harbor Freight Predator for travel. I can only run 1 air but I can live with that. BTW the predator is more quiet than the Yamaha.

RE: Anybody at the grand canyon

The night time temps vary above and below freezing for another month and a half. They don't turn the water on and off daily.

RE: Inverter in Jayco 336fbok

Near the batteries.

RE: Go to Grand Canyon...glow in the dark...

Turns out the safety manager didn't know what he was doing. Everyone is safe. Google for update.

RE: Is it over already?

They were headed to Lake Havasu. Big fireworks shows and Rock a Billy all this weekend.

RE: Slide out gear pack rollers

I replaced mine with steel rollers found on amazon.

RE: Electrical disaster - near miss

I would put a waterproof j-box under the trailer and connect your wires in that. Dave

RE: Hitch Extenders

I use a setup similar to your picture, Curt 2 1/2 extension. I have towed my 3k boat with a couple hundred lbs of tongue weight, and also my Jeep cj7 about 3k and no tongue weight. I thought of hooking diagonally like you mentioned, but have had no problems without them. Again, these were only around 3k lbs, not as much as what you want to pull. Let us know what works for you. RE: Norcold lawsuit

I got my second check about a month ago. Dave

RE: Hub Leak?

You probably have two or more different types of grease in your hub that are not compatible with each other. The grease tends to liquify and leak. Try cleaning out all the old grease and repack your bearings. Dave

RE: Lippert Slide Out

I see that Doug is right. Looking at your picture I see that is not a hydraulic cylinder. Unhook the motor assembly and try the gear packs and the motor separately to see which one is the culprit. Dave
