Why not try WD-40 and a couple pairs of channel lock pliers?

RE: Stop using AIOW please!

I agree with the original poster (OP). I feel that the acronym **** started with texting and continued with the group that can't spell. Facebook helped this phenomenon along. Ask a person to spell out AFAIK and see what you get. Another one is IMHO. It seems people are too lazy to use correct English to communicate so they use abbreviations that many find hard to understand. I can see the need for brevity when texting in traffic but you should wait for a gas station to text your worthless garbage. DW, cool, who really refers to their wife as Darling Wife, girlie men?.

RE: Refrigerator Smell - Yuck!

Both doors propped open with dish towel and an opened box of baking soda in each. Reuse baking soda when you store the trailer.

RE: First RV Grand Design vs Keystone cougar

Agreed, but the OP said nothing about a half ton truck but people saw 150 and assumed it.

RE: First RV Grand Design vs Keystone cougar

I didn’t see any mention of 1/2ton truck, only GD in 150 series.

RE: Why ? trailer jacks so tall ?

The size of the jack head can interfere with the tailgate opening. I have a husky and no problem dropping the tailgate. Get a longer ball mount or turn the jack till two holes line up and drill the third hole.

RE: Help buying a small travel trailer

Does the Highlander have a receiver and 7way plug? Seems like a pop up trailer would be better to start with. Your mirrors will work without replacing them. What size v6, 3 liter? It’s built on the Camry platform.

RE: Batteries won't hold charge - need help

The isolator may be bad allowing the coach bat to drain the chassis bat but this doesn’t explain where the drain is. Remove wires from the isolator and charge coach bat. Once completed check voltage and check again in a few hours. You need to find where the drain is, coach or chassis.

CO detector? Do you have a battery isolator for the coach batteries?

RE: Hot water tank drain plug

What make is your water heater? If it is a Suburban, the drain plug is the anode rod and is not plastic. If so, someone has messed with it. Get an anode rod and a 1 1/16” socket and do it right. You will damage the tank without one,
If it is an Atwood, then a drain with 1/4 turn valve may work.

RE: DIY project for Generator rack

As of its first generation, the Touareg was developed together with the Porsche Cayenne and the Audi Q7, sharing platforms and much technology. The vehicles were developed as unibody SUVs with independent suspension. The initial generation (2002–2010) offered five-, six-, eight-, ten- and twelve-cylinder engine choices.
Interesting, it pulls the trailer just fine?

RE: Leave propane on while driving?

That’s a good idea! I am not sure if the refer would start again without manually pressing the button.
It may go to default off. I guess I could try and see what happens. But when you do reset the fridge it would probably light right away.

RE: Leave propane on while driving?

I leave my fridge on and running. No water heater on. My fridge is on the opposite and 25 feet back from my gas fill port. I usually fill up before hooking up to leave the campground. If not, I don’t worry about it. Too much doom and gloom here.
