RE: How long do you drive/tow in a day?

Back in February we did 535 miles in one day but I don't recommend it. The 2nd day we did 407 miles before we finished up doing 228 miles on the 3rd day. We are both 72. We've done the route many times and knew where we were going and what to expect when we got there. Normally though we break the trip up like: 228 the first day, 258 the 2nd day, 394 the 3rd day and finally the last day is 276 miles.

RE: HarvestHost......anyone using it?

I haven't found any campgrounds that charge less than $35 a night, the last place I stayed at wanted $60 for the night. I've been a member of Harvest Hosts for over 6 years and never felt pressured to buy anything, that being said I do drink wine so I usually by at east 2 bottles. Once we just did the wine tasting for $10, 5 each. Once they let us do the wine tasting for free because we were members of HH. I've never had a bad experience and would rather stay at a HH rather than a campground. Downfall to HH's is usually no dump stations or free wifi or electric. They do have some of the prettiest locations that we have ever seen. We are also members of boondockerswelcome, com

RE: Texas coast winter stay

valhalla360 I couldn't reply to your post, kept getting Invalid Formatting We spend 14 winters in Rockport before heading down to Weslaco. Because of Covid our start this year has been delayed. Ordered anew 5th wheel the first week of Oct but the production line was shut down until the first week of this year. Dealer called me Monday and said it was on the lot and wanted to know when I would like to pick it up so I told him I would be up there tomorrow. We need about 2 weeks to get ready to leave, wanted to spend a week over at the State Park on Mustang Island but everything was booked solid, however I was able to get 5 days (wanted a few more) over at Goose Island State Park.

RE: Texas coast winter stay

I would suggest the Corpus Christi area and if I could afford it I would stay here but I Can't Afford it.. Down the road about 5 miles and a more reasonable price is This One. Both of the above parks are as close to the beach as you can get plus both have bay water close by for the kayaks. I wasn't allowed to post the link because of a formatting problem however I would do a Google search with the following words. Port Aransas RV Parks. Any of those parks should work for you.

RE: How will my new F350 behave in cold temps?

My 2012 F250 has glow plugs I would think that yours has them also.

RE: Login Security Warning

What is really odd is that when I click on your post I get the yellow triangle with the exclamation mark and when I click on it it says part of this site like images is not secure. However the next 5 posts I click on are normal.

RE: Cincinnatti bypass

The I-75 bridge is currently closed. Hopefully scheduled to reopen by December 25th. That's the reason for the post.

RE: 2020 vs 2021 Model

Last night before making my post I had a couple of margaritas so I left out that this is for a Forest River Wildwood Forest Glenn 338BAR Fifth-Wheel.

2020 vs 2021 Model

Earlier this spring I found a 2021 model that I very much wanted. I sent a request to the dealer and he quoted me $39,991 for it. However before I committed to it he sold the unit. After searching high and low I have found an identical unit however it is a 2020 model and they are asking $40,995 for it. They want $1,004 more for a unit that is a year older. I have checked the spec sheet on both units and I can't find anything different. The first dealer had a MSRP of $63,776 while the 2nd dealer has a MSRP of $61,365 What would you do? Thanks PS I thought I posted this in 5th wheels so it's ok to move it.
