RE: Replacement WDH shaft

Ok, getting back to the original post. Thanks for the info so far. The unanswered question I guess is: will a Pro-Series head work with a shank from a different mfg?

Replacement WDH shaft

Gathering info in case I need it in a month or two. Just upgraded our TV to a 3/4 ton. Of course, that increased the receiver size to a 2 1/2” from a 2”. I think it may also be higher enough that I might need a different shaft because I may not be able to drop the ball enough on my existing one. Packed away right now so I can’t be sure, but I’d like the info in advance so if I need one, I can get it quickly. Two questions: do I get a 2 1/2” if I can for my style of hitch and where do I get one? I have a preo-series round bar with 1200/12000# set up. Thanks

RE: Peel and Sick Vinyl Plank.

Don’t remember what brand I used, though I bought mine at Lowe’s. I sprayed the floor with 3M Super 77 adhesive prior to putting down each piece. Never had one shift or come up in 4 years.

RE: Do propane fire pits put out any heat?

Does a fire give off heat: YES does not matter if propane or wood. HOW MUCH.. Well that matters more on the size of the fire than the fuel. Different fuels give off different amounts of energy (heat). So it does matter if it’s propane or wood or butane etc.

RE: Pls respect Canadian laws

The border is closed to non essential traffic so i would think anyone crossing the border is fully aware of the protocol. Define essential travel. My 82 year old mother lives in Guelph Ontario. She has stage 3 cancer and is trying to undergo treatments. Her husband has Alzheimer’s disease. No family members around to help. Does that qualify as essential travel for me to come and help? The Canadian government says no. But, if I’m driving to Alaska for vacation, come on in.

RE: Canada/US Border still shut...

Bear sprays in larger containers are OK in Canada, sprays for use against humans like Mace are not. Nope. This was evidently the bad kind. Lesson learned. I'll be a better guest next time. It's kind of an odd distinction, I'm sure bear spray would work very nicely on humans. It’s not an ‘odd’ distinction, it’s a legal distinction. Bear or wasp spray is a common product for a legitimate innocuous use. Pepper spray is an offensive weapon and illegal in Canada. There’s lots of such quirks in Canadian criminal law. It’s mostly based on intent. Funny, I never would have thought of pepper spray as an offensive weapon. Seems to me that it is for defense only. “Intent” can be a very dangerous notion legally.i only intended to rob him, I did not intend for him to die. Therefore you can’t charge me with murder. As far as the border goes, like you said, it’s your country, your half of the border. I will always defend a country’s sovereignty to do what ever they wish within their borders as long as it doesn’t affect anyone’s basic human rights. If Canada doesn’t want our tourism dollars, so be it.
