RE: Water pump psi

Does your old water pump still run but does not pump water? If so it's an easy fix with this new pump head.

RE: Camping in cold temps, bad idea?

We always camp without hookups and have been down to 23 degrees with no problems. We do use a Big Buddy heater.

RE: Powering multiple low voltage devices in the truck

I have a couple of these installed behind my dash and wired to the fuse box.

RE: AGM upgrade

AGM is still a lead acid battery so no need to change your charging system. BTW you will not be upgrading by switching to the AGM as it won't last 8 years.

RE: Repairing damage to fibrglass.

Call your insurance company. They will have a list of body shops that can do the repair.

RE: Backup camera has no power

The back up camera should only have power when the RV is in reverse.

RE: Lithium Batteries

Since you are up grading the batteries you should think about installing 400 watts of solar.

RE: Getting Pin Weight From Tongue Weight Scale

Why not drive to a truck stop and use a Cat scale for $10? Then go drop the trailer in the lot and weigh the truck for another $2.

RE: Christmas where???

If you have never been to the southwest it would be a great winter vacation but you should plan to stay a month or two.

65 is fast enough for us.

RE: Replacing wall USB port

I bought this one a year ago and it works great.

RE: Selecting portable compressor

The more you pay for an air compressor the less you wait for the tire to fill up. With that said I returned a Viair 280C because it was to big.

RE: Water refill when dry camping

On my 6 gallon water jug I removed the white shut off valve and installed a PVC pipe with a male garden hose fitting from Home Depot. Now I can attach my water hose to the jug and set the jug on the bed rail of my truck. About 5 gallons will drain into the water tank then I need to hole the jug over my head to get the last gallon of water into my tank. No pump needed and I don't get wet.

RE: Small mistakes can make big problems

He is not the first person to make this mistake and he won't be the last. Common sense doesn't seem very common anymore.

RE: 10K psi grease gun

Is this a new wet bolt kit or is it old? If it is old with old grease you might want to try a propane torch to heat the grease in the wet bolts.

RE: Remove Stock 40w Panel Before adding?

I would add another controller or remove the 40 watt panel.

RE: What's your battery setup on your travel trailer?

We boondock all winter in the southwest. I have four 6 volt Interstate industrial golf cart batteries, 235 AH each or 470 AH at 12 volts. 860 watts of solar on the roof. 2000 watt pure sine wave inverter. The wife uses her hair drier in the morning, the microwave as needed, the TV is on 6 hours each night and if it is a cold night we turn on the electric blanket.

RE: 200w solar system.....Lead acid OR AGM batteries?

Since both are lead acid batteries the solar should not make any difference. My experience is the flooded acid will last longer than AGM as long as you maintain the flooded acid batteries. I check mine 3 or 4 times a year.

RE: Switches in bathroom and fridge not working

The fridge power switch should be on the fridge door.

RE: Fresh water tank leak

Try E bay for a new tank. As for your repair was it clean and dry when you tried?
