RE: Charging trailer battery while towing and smart charging

About 200 watts of solar on the roof of your trailer will keep your batteries charged when traveling down the road.

RE: Installing rear wireless camera

My 5th wheel did not have back up lights either but it did have the yellow wire for the back up lights at the back of the trailer, so I tested it with the truck in reverse and it had power so I used that wire to power my camera.

RE: furnace while driving

I don't see the point. We have been in some frezzing weather while driving but nothing froze inside the trailer.

RE: Gm 2500HD GAS VS DIESEL

I'd say I'm very close to paying off the diesel. I also get better than 10 MPG when I'm towing.

RE: Best way to repair crack in aluminum siding?

The first thing that you need to do is drill a stop hole at the end of the crack.

RE: No heat

Our furness would not work in the morning when we first got up but would fire up a few hours latter when I was out trying to fix it. All the other propane stuff worked fine. Then the range started having a low flame so I replaced the propane regalator, now the furness works all the time.

RE: Covering up holes in paneling

The hardware store may have some plastic or wood plugs to full the holes. Then try to paint them to match the wallboard. I know this will not be perfect but it would look better than the holes.

RE: Arizona State Trust Land, Foothills, Yuma, AZ.

I know a lot of the property owners were getting fined this year for hiking on ASTL without a permit.

RE: Add to camping to do list...

You could add Geocaching to your list.

RE: Solar wiring route?

I drilled a hole in my roof and ran the wires down inside the bedroom closet to the basement. I did this seven years ago and I have zero leaks. I sealed it with Dicor.

RE: Solar install

I recommend wiring from the controler to the batteries with a disconect switch close to the batteries.

RE: PLUMBING MOD ?

I replaced the 3/8" drain with 1/2" drain. It is a lot faster to drain the tank now.
