Mdk0420 I preferred my autoformer to the MicroAir.
I could reliably start the 13500 btu Dometic on my Yamaha Sieb inverter generator. It does have 500 watts of extra boost.
Would you share which autoformer you used.

RE: 2 outlets in GFCI path not working
I had a regular outlet in my trailer that was somehow connected to another outlet with a gfci, when that outlet quit working it took me a while to figure it out. Once I reset the other gfci outlet it started working again.

I installed a soft start. I found it did little for me. I much preferred the results from the autoformer.
200 amps of LI and a 2kw inverter. But the battery management system (bms) will limit you to 200 amps max. One solution is to add another battery.
Battleborn, for example, does a 2C surge for 30 seconds, but only 1/2 second for higher loads.
What li batteries do you have? If you rolled your own, what bms is being used?
