RE: Virginia City Mt. To Bannack then on to RT 93 in Idaho

Thanks ReeneG, that's the route I wanted. It looks like a nice ride. We're not in a rush at all.

Virginia City Mt. To Bannack then on to RT 93 in Idaho

I'm seeing 287 to 41 then find a campground for a visit to Bannack. However I have no idea what these routes are like. I really don't want to travel dwn dirt roads. Afterward I'd like to get over to St 93 in Idaho. Then take it south. I'm thinking 278 to 43 but again the road conditions matter.
As always I appreciate your advise. Oh 45 days on the road and so far so good....Knock on Wood.... I'm in Medora right now. DW and I are going to take in the Cowboy Musical Saturday night then head to Virginia City. So far all the campground We have visited are pretty much full. Gas around $4.00/ gallon.
We are driving a 2020 26' Class C

RE: Do I need to condition my slide seals against drying out?

I use Talc powder. Pour some into an old sock, tie off the top and apply to the rubber gaskets/seals. Can actually hear the slide speed up when opening/closing. Doesn't attract dirt or dust.

RE: Fuel Availability

I live near in Massachusetts near Providence RI and have been to Connecticut, New Hampshire and Maine in the last 2 weeks and there is plenty of Deisel fuel. I didn't notice the price though. I was talking to a fellow camper this last weekend. He has a Super C that he just ran back home to Ma. From Florida. He said he had no problem getting fuel all the way up the east coast.

RE: Water Pressure Regulator

I bought the" Twinkle Star" adjustable water pressure regulator from Amazon 3 years ago. Cost $26.99. Just looked it up and still $26.99. It has gotten a lot of use and still works fine. It can be taken completly apart to service it too. Last year it stopped working so I took it apart. I found the water inlet screen broke for some reason and a piece of the wire got caught in the pressure adjusting spring.
Removed it put it back together and it has been worked fine.

RE: Montana Route Question

I just did some further research and it looks like its a partially paved sometimes very narrow road with some very sharp hairpin turns and very steep rough dirt road surface inclines. I think I'll pass this one and stay on Rt 12 to Missoula then on to Lolo.

Montana Route Question

I'm working on the Montana section of our 3 month road trip this summer. We'll be traveling in our 2020 26 Ft class C RV no tow. I'm looking at taking Montana Rt. 1, the Pintler Veterans Scenic Highway to Montana Rt 38, Skalkho Rd to Grantsdale Mt. enroute Lolo Mt. and Rt 12 west. Rt 1 looks fine but I'm wondering about RT 38. Would I have any problems with taking this road with my class C through to Grantsdale?
We'll be there around the first week of September.
As always, your advise is appreciated.
