RE: Understanding length of time for absorption & finish charge

I'd love to know what this is about. What kind of RV are we talking about? I guess I never heard of 8 volt batteries being used in an RV. All I can say is don't mix old batteries with new batteries.

Diesel Fuel

I have a 2015 diesel and want to go to Mazatlan. Can anyone tell me what exactly will happen if I run a few hundred gallons of diesel fuel through my truck?

RE: military campgrounds new rules for use

It covers much more than just disabled vets. there are other eligible people you can use the MWR (can rent equip such as RVs, get ticket discounts and etc) which includes everything on a base. • Veterans who have been awarded the Purple Heart; • Veterans who are former prisoners of war; • Veterans with a service-connected disability, documented by the VA; and • Primary caregivers of veterans who are eligible per the VA Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers. As for the AFVC, it already covers veterans in its eligibility.

I forgot I just did a thread on this site. So ULSD is not in Mexico, oh well. I am concerned about the fuel and what I do if I have a overlimit service DPF and how to get it regen if necessary from a dealer. I've had this twice where I had to go to the dealer to do a regen.

RE: asking for suggestions/opinions

costs? you can buy a 3 or 4 year old 5th wheel that will do you just fine. the added costs will be what you need to pull the trailer. good luck. I'd also say just keep your trailer and save for one a few years down the road. as for kids/grandkids....must kids aren't interested in what you want them to be interested in....don't buy something for them, only you.

RE: Phoenix to Toronto, May 2020

goggle has a route that looks good. 33 hours. It does go through Detroit but that traffic is workable if you go through it on the off hours. Detroit is nothing like Chicago....I am from Michigan.

Diesel Fuel for newer diesels

How are people dealing with the fuel issue in Mexico? I have a 2015 Ford F350 and requires the ULSD fuel. I have issues already in the states with the darn DPF/CAT system. Any thoughts would be helpful, I'd like to drive down to Mazatlan again.

RE: full timing

too open of a question. if you are handy you can do many things right at the rv park. Just keep learning on how to do many of the minor repairs yourself. major repairs....well, you will have to find a repair shop. Most RV campgrounds have a list of repair shops. The biggest problem you will run into, at times, will be getting into a shop and then ordering parts that you need. Weeks could turn into many weeks.

RE: Grand Design Reflection 150 Series

the thing i don't like about GD is that many of the models don't have the 6 point leveling system. After having it on my Montana I'll never NOT have this system.
