RE: Running lights on cars

Here in Canada it is mandatory to have DTRl, it really makes a difference, now you can see the on coming vehicle from far away. The lates vehicle models have all LED lights that are very bright that look front marker light. All US vehicle that are imported to Canada from the US need to go in for safety and DTRl are on the list to be operational.

RE: Renting your RV

Last year we rented out our airstream for a long weekend, we signed up with Ruckify ( A Canadian company) it was a great experience, the rental company ( Ruckify) took care of all insurances, damage deposits. We removed our personal belongings and left all the pots pans cutlery etc. For an extra fee they rented our generator, . Th renter came a picked up the rv, I went through the rv with him and off they went, the rv had to be returned at 2 pm on their last rental day and they left the the thing spotless upon their return. We rented it out for $125.00 a night, and the generator for 30.00 a day. Easy money. And with this COVID thing a lot of people are either renting their rv out or renting an rv. This is no different than renting a home through VRBO or Air BNB .

Used RV prices.

We sold our airstream a few weeks back, a guy contacted me and said “I want it” , I said to him who ever shows up with the money first is the winner, and I had lots of intrest in it. Guy shows up with certified cheque for the full amount, he hooked the AS up to his Mercedes and off he went. The reason we sold our AS is the the layout did not work for us. So we were in the market for a new to us trailer in the 22-24’ range. After looking at a few trailers, the quality sucks, and price out of this world, some people wanted brand new price for a 5 year old rv. But yesterday we found what we wanted , a 2013 Arctic Fox 22GQ for a good price$17000.00 It does need a little cosmetic work, but that’s minor, at least it did not leak and no delamination. We are exited, and hopefully we can take it this winter, since it is an Arctic FoX.
