RE: Solar panels. Looking to buy several.

Don’t buy 12 volt panels. Put residential panels on the roof and use an MPPT controller. Much cheaper and better. The 12V are so expensive for what you get.

RE: Solar wiring route?

In my last trailer I dropped it over the side and used plastic wiring channel which I stuck to the side. This went all the down and then I went up through the bottom with the existing holes for the battery cutoff switch. It looked good and you could do the same right beside the awning. This eliminated any Dicor or Eternabond and didn't need a drip loop as the water would go straight down anyways.

RE: Can of foam---where to spray?

Where my water connections came into the trailer to the water pump and then through the floor to the tank, it came through the wall through a very flimsy plastic insert. Normally this was OK but as it got colder and if the water was cold it would condense. I fixed this by spraying foam on the inside of the plastic insert and no more problems. It might work for you as well.

RE: Watts Help Needed.

A standard 12V battery will have around 90 amps and you can only use about half of that so 45 amps else you will shorten the life of the battery. You would be using the 1.8A number at 12V. Ryan

RE: Camping in Nova Scotia

Five islands for sure. Also Rissors and Graves Island Provincial Parks. Digby is a good spot as well. Ryan

RE: Resealing trailer

EPDM is black on the inside. You can check by removing the trim piece around a roof vent on the inside. The roof material will be folded inside. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGLSiG88S5c
