RE: Atwood Water Heater Will not Ignite or Stay Lit

Start by checking the ground on the gas valve. It is hidden behind the mounting bracket. Check continuity on the TWO gas valve coils. They should read the same resistance. I don't care much for the wires at the circuit board being so tightly twisted. Forgot ask does your other appliances work OK?

RE: No electric at rear receptacle for toad

Best to use a test lamp! There could be several fuses, one for each function plus some have a control circuit.

RE: No electric at rear receptacle for toad

Have you checked the trailer fuses on the MH? Owner's manual for chassis should have their location.

RE: Where have all the members gone on this forum?

Exactly my earlier point. He was full of valuable knowledge and insights, but not so good with people.

RE: dinghy towing question

Do both pins slide toward the safety pin? It could be an alignment problem with the base plates. I would try putting the pins in from opposite direction and see if they move away from safety pins. That would be handles toward the center of the toad.

RE: 1998 chevy p30 fuse box diagram

My little older,93, dash fuse block is located on left pillar under the dash. I have a driver's door which makes it easy to access. If no door it could be hard. What fuse are you looking for?

RE: Where have all the members gone on this forum?

Over the years, I have seen more hostile replies which turn many people off. A person will ask a legitimate question and gets somewhat sarcastic answers.

RE: Where is 89 Southwind RV Alternator Fuse

Along with the fusible links by the starter, Locate the battery control center. Many have a charge relay. On my rig the charge relay must energize before the batteries get charged. Mine has a control fuse in the control center.

RE: Low tree branches in my development ..Update

There are federal regulations for clearances.

RE: Low tree branches in my development ..Update

They should cut the tree limbs back to meet clearance on the street. Should be 16 foot minimum and should be 19-foot clearance. You should be able to file a TORT claim for damages!

RE: Hazard flasher problem

Power for turn signal is coming off the four-way flasher circuit.

RE: Curiosity of RV Park parking?

Some parks have sprinkler systems that could be under the rig. Staying for a long period of time could stunt the grass. Need to keep stabilizers on the pad so they don't sink. Same with motor homes that are too long for sites. some MHs have around 12-13 feet of over-hang in the rear. Stabilizers are behind the rear wheels. But you can let ten feet or so hang over back of the site. That would leave enough room for toad to stay out of roadway. Just my observations!

RE: Hazard flasher problem

I would verify that there is power to the turn signal circuit. Fuse? With flashers on, the dash indicators will both be on steady. Normal for GM- Workhorse chassis.
