RE: GFI Breaker switch won't reset

A circuit with multiple outlets can be GFI protected by one GFI outlet. Each outlet in this circuit will not have a reset button.

RE: thermostat replacement

Digital replacement. Hunter 42999, just the same as the older 42999B. AA battery operated, will control AC and heater.

RE: Onan Generator

A year ago when we purchased our 2005 Northern Lite with Onan generator, I was a bit apprehensive because of negative comments I had read about Onan generators. But we have been quite pleased with the (propane fueled) Onan. We love the convenience of pushing a button and having the generator come alive. And while not as quiet as we would like, it is much less noisy than we expected. When we are inside with the door closed, it is no more noisy than our furnace. And dry camping is much easier than before we had the Onan. What model is the Onan? I may be looking for a small one to replace the Generac in the motorhome.

RE: Trojan vs Interstate information

Probably more important to have a good charging system and a routine check of water and cleaning and you have that covered. You should probably check water level more often to have a feel for water usage, not all systems are the same. Adding water is very normal with deep cycle batteries, nothing to be concerned about.

RE: Buying/evaluating a used Harbor Freight hydraulic crimper?

Before you invest in a hydraulic check the impact crimpers. Used an impact crimper to add four 6v batteries to my house battery bank. They work for 8 to 4/0 AWG cables. Get the correct size lugs for the wire you use and add heat shrink for color codes.
