RE: Dash AC blows out of the defrost vents

The 2000 F53 has to have a vacuum pump. There is no vacuum provided by the engine. You have a 12 volt vacuum pump with a vacuum canister, under the hood. Start there to find your leak

RE: Pro Flex For Roofs Vs RV Pro Flex?

Didn't say what you are going to seal, seams on the sides and roof or the whole roof. One is in a can and you brush it on and the other is a sealant in a caulking tube to lay down a seal line. I have used Geocel ProFlex to seal vertical and horizontal seams, around windows, doors, fridge vent, anywhere except the roof. I think it is easy to use and makes a neat seal line. Try not to use it in the sun when it is hot, don't have time to work with it. Smooth with soapy water, squirt bottle.

RE: Another internet choice

For complete instructions for using Visable in this manner go here. Visible is not a third party company, it is Verizon. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f53/40-month-unlimited-internet-interested-442091.html User gsgriffin has put in the time and effort to give information that makes this an understandable solution. This service has evolved over the past few months to where it is today. The length of the thread is mostly users that try to do something other than the original intent

RE: Generator keeps shutting off

First thing given should be the make, model of the generator, everyone still guessing. Why can't you run it from a 15 amp extension cord?

RE: MPEG 4 Chipset TV Questions

Think the best solution is a cable set top box that receives mpeg4. Don't know about splitting it up or if you will have to get three. The above STB is for antenna reception I think, you need one for cable.

RE: Replace GENERAC generator in a Gulfstream

Carb kit, Briggs & Stratton 807962. Rebuilt mine with this kit. Only problem, had to use original idle jet, it was size 52, kit was size 58. Be careful removing the float pin, the carb metal is not strong. There is cheap replacement for the carb and only salvaged Generacs to replace what you have.

RE: storage tips for keeping batteries in good shape ????

Your batteries are dry because your charger is overcharging. They have to be on a battery maintainer or a three stage charger that provides a float charge. You should go ahead and replace the batteries you added acid to.

RE: Isolating TT's Lithium from TV's Lead Acid Batteries

You are going to need a larger gauge wire from the TV battery to the TT converter. The 12 gauge wire in the 7 way and probably the other wire in the trip is not large enough for even a 5 amp load. See the voltage drop calculator at the bottom of this page. http://www.powerstream.com/Wire_Size.htm

RE: Hooking up to a well

For a permanent installation you should have a PVC pipe for the well pump discharge, get rid of the hose. This pipe connects to a well pump tank. The pump is cycled as needed by a well pump pressure switch, switch is controlled by the pressure in the tank, typical 30 to 50 psi is all that is needed. There may be variations depending on how deep the well is, shallow well, jet pump or submerged pump. Of course all this needs tp be in and insulated pump house to keep from freezing. Tanks have a diaphragm, air loaded on top and water below, come in all sizes. For just a TT a 15 gallon tank should work. Remember, when the pressure drops in the tank because of use the pump cycles on to maintain pressure Tanks: https://www.amazon.com/Amtrol-WX-203-Well-X-Trol-Stand-Water/dp/B0057P1AP2/ref=asc_df_B0057P1AP2/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=167154783287&hvpos=1o7&hvnetw=g&hvrand=13455359695434987612&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9027391&hvtargid=pla-309461322382&psc=1 could be as simple as this for a shallow well https://www.homedepot.com/p/Superior-Pump-1-2-HP-Shallow-Well-Jet-Tank-System-With-24L-Tank-94525/302330531

RE: Volts and Dehumidifier

Stages of charging wet cell batteries, bulk, adsorption and float. To reduce gen run time just finish bulk charge, this is about an 80% charge.

RE: Replaced my house batteries...

Charging requirements are not the same for AGM and wet cell batteries. Don't know how you are charging but many chargers have settings for the battery type you are using. https://www.knowyourparts.com/technical-resources/blog/three-misconceptions-agm-batteries/ https://discoverbattery.com/EN/battery-101/general-charging-information-for-agm-and-gel-batteries/

RE: Dash and vaccum hoses?

There is a 12v vacuum pump and a small, round, vacuum tank. this supplies the vacuum for the system to operate dampers. Probably an evens tempcon system. Trouble shooting guides http://www.evanstempcon.com/tsg_hvac.php

RE: Recommend me a Vacume Food Bagger

foodsaver v475. Smaller compared to some. You can start vac and seal, press seal, to seal at any time, so you can seal snacks, without crushing. I reuse those bags. Don't try to vac and seal stuff that has moisture. I freeze it first, then vac and seal. When you take meat out to use clip a corner of the bag to release the vacuum, keeps the moisture in the meat.
