RE: First run.

FL makes plenty of money from out of state tourists. From us residents, too. ;)

RE: removing the shower holding tank

The holding tank is 26 gallons and is in the back between the frame. I want to remove that tank .... I'm not familiar with your unit, but doesn't this same tank hold the gray water from the kitchen and bathroom sinks also? Just curious. Thanks.

RE: taking out rear air coditioner (Roadtrek)

Any suggestions for a good cleaner? Thanks, Gary Awesome might do the trick. Read the instructions for strength. Did wonders for me on a vinyl windshield cover at 50%.

RE: Dead Sprinter Diesel

There is some information in your Sprinter manual, although it's rather vague. Look under Safety, then under Anti-Theft Systems. Click here for a good information source for your Sprinter. There is a Roadtrek section also. What year Roadtrek do you have?

RE: Dead Sprinter Diesel

Have that problem every now and then. Mostly an annoyance. If you take it to someone have them check the starter connections. Or, worse case clean the starter brushes. I've heard that does the trick. Me, I just live with it, it is so infrequent.

RE: Dump

Hope we never have that issue again. Thanks for the info. Just curious. Where were you?

RE: Dump

My Trek came with a 10' hose. Plenty for any place we've been.

RE: Dump

Our dump hose won't reach. We would have to get off the paved pad to make it work and we are worried we would get stuck. We have a Roadtrek Sprinter I've never experienced this issue. Have always had more than enough hose length. I believe the macerator wouldn't have any trouble pumping through extra hose length, but where would you store it. I don't think the storage area would accommodate much more, if any, than the hose length the Roadtrek comes with.

RE: Dealer refusing to do Warranty work?

Sprinters only have a driver side rear fog light. It's a European thing. It's in your Sprinter manual.

RE: Mercedes-Benz Sprinter engine

More information than you may want. The complete list shows all operating fluids if you are interested in doing more of your maintenance.

RE: Tire pressure at 80 PSI ?

I ran 80 rear and 65 front on my sprinter B(2500) but there is a large group of new Bs built on the sprinter 3500 van with dual rear wheels, doubtful you need torun 80 in the rear on those! I run 55 up front and 75 rear in my 3500. Seems to handle best there. I've played around with combinations up to 60 up front and 80 rear.

RE: Leveling with dual wheels

We use the "lego" blocks under both dually wheels. Never have needed more than one set. Lucky in site choice I guess. One good thing about a B is it is one can jockey it around in the site to get a good level spot to minimize block usage. Once I have changed sites when I saw how unlevel it was. Make sure you block both wheels and have the footprint fully on the blocks.

RE: Questions on Lasko 1500 watt heater

We use a small 1500w el cheapo heater (Walmart - $12) in our RT Adventurous. Works great for us. When the inside temp gets to 68 we turn it on. Has maintained 70 degrees when the outside has been 28. Put it on the floor between the driver/passenger seat and point it to the back. Never had it over the #4 of 10 setting. We have never used the lp heater. Heard it is noisy.

RE: UPDATE from your favorite songstress- soon to be full-timer!

I try to do this while I'm driving because I'm too impatient to stand around while the genset does its thing. I'm too impatient to wait, too, so I run it while I cut the lawn. The neighbors can't hear the genset for the Husqvarna. :B

RE: Class B Size Gas Grill

Is the Coleman stove the one with the separate burner? Yep. One burner, one grill, bright red.

RE: Class B Size Gas Grill

We, too, have the Coleman 2-Burner Perfectflow Instastart Propane Grill Stove. Got it at Walmart for $79 and we hook it up to the LP in our Adventurous on a 12' hose. Stores under the bed perfectly.

RE: Keep it clean

This stuff works absolutely great especially for bug removal. It's awesome. :) Agree this stuff is "awesome". I've used it in the house for years. I assume you have used it on your RV for a while. And, the paint is not affected? Do you re-wax after you use it? Thx.
