RE: What did you do to your truck today?

Thanks, Delta Bravo...I knew that.... I just got lazy and mis-spelled...maybe was because of being road weary after 300 Plus road miles yesterday. Boy was Yellowstone ever crowded. No camping unless you had previously reserved a space. We didn't....Traffic was intense but it was Labor Day. Gary

RE: What did you do to your truck today?

82,000 miles and my 2012 F350 had a serious case of Front End Death Wobble.....Really really bad shimmy. Like shaking the front end off the truck. I had to go from 60 down to a complete stop. Happened three times and was really scary. Went straight to Les Schaub Tire Store, They replaced tie rod ends, and all four shocks. Drove the truck home 130 miles with no issues. Headed out again with Truck Camper on and WOW the truck had serious Death Wobble again several times. I essentially limped to Les Schaub again. The Service Manager was dumbfounded. I insisted he drive the Truck... He did and exclaimed my GAWD you have more than one tire with separated plies or belts......They Warranted all four Tires....and replaced them with all new Les Schaub Open Country Tires.....No more DEATH WOBBLE after a 1500 mile trip with our Camper over the past few days. WHEW!?!!??!?!

RE: SUMMO SPRINGS added...Your Experiences

Bill, The SUMO Front Axle Bumper is considerably larger than the little yellow stock one. The SUMO Spring bumper sits right on the Axle without the Camper even lowered onto the truck. My 6.7 Diesel plus the Camper does put considerable weight on the frontend. I am so anxious to see what the rig acts like with the upgrade.

RE: SUMMO SPRINGS added...Your Experiences

Shawn, Thanks for the positive comments on SUMO Springs for the rear. I have Timbren SES on the Rear essentially the same as SUMO. I didn't know about SUMO Springs back in 2012 when I installed the Hellwig Big Wigs Front and Rear at the same time I installed the Timbren's in the rear. I had Air Bags on the previous two trucks...Never again!!!! I am anxious to see how the SUMO's in front work out. Thanks Again, GARY

SUMMO SPRINGS added...Your Experiences

My 2012 F350 4x4 Supercab has lots of suspension upgrades and does a very good job of hauling my 2011 Eagle Cap 950.....the front end, even though I have added the extra heavy-duty front sway bar and Rancho 9000 shocks never seems solid instead seems to dive into bumps pretty harshly. So yesterday I added 1500 pound rated SUMO Springs front axle bumpers. The puny yellow FORD MoCo bumpers are gone now and when inspected look as if they have never contacted the Axle. I won't be on the road with the Truck and Camper for at least another month. I am very curious what others might have so say experience-wise with SUMO SPRINGS???? Look forward to hearing from you all. GARY
