Terrible condensation/mold? What to use to prevent

So, I have a 2014 Keystone Hideout travel trailer. Bought brand new, was tired of used leaky trailers. I have kept inside my pole barn since day one, so never ever leaked a drop of water. This winter, I never messed with it much, or really even went in to check on it. Just knew it was winterized, inside, and good to go. WELL, not so much. I left a few windows partially opened, and it appears I suffered from interior condensation and now surface mold in spots from over winter storage. More than just a tad bit, so really makes me mad!! How do I control this from happening again? Rid-ex stuff? I really hate the idea to plug in a dehumidifier all winter long. Ironically the mold attached to random things like baby pack and play, skillet, and other random things that I threw out. I will be scrubbing everything else top to bottom this weekend. Thanks in advance!

RE: "Service trailer brake system" on 2016 GMC

Not that anyone cares lol, but I figured I would update this post incase someone searches this in the future. I ended up trying out the cheapest and easiest part to replace, bascially throwing parts at it, and bam it worked. My factory trailer brake controller was the problem. I had one sent via Amazon, $43 later changed it out and works like new. No more stupid computer telling me to service trailer brake system. I love my GMC's, but kinda crazy the factory brake controller went bad on a 3 year old truck with 57k miles. O well, could be worse

Like2build- wish it was, just this year GMC was 3 years 36000 miles, which is kinda a joke.

"Service trailer brake system" on 2016 GMC

Have a 2016 GMC 3500, 6.0 gas job with 57K miles. Constantly now my computer screen beeps "Service Trailer Brake System", even when no trailer is hooked to truck.. took to my local trailer guy, he checked my plug port where trailer lights plug in, and we checked all fuses. he said neither is the problem. he says its either the factory built trailer brake controller that was built in dash, or the "Module" that is up under the spare tire. Anyone ever have this issue? He said it would be a guessing game for him. I hate to take it to the stealership for diagnosis though....

RE: Camping Options for Disney World

Orlando SE / Lake Whippoorwill KOA- I second this. Just stayed here last week. Tight spaces, but otherwise gorgeous park!! The pool, hot tub, view of the lake, lights around the park at night, and quiet as a whistle, to give you a break from the rat race of Disney, but still close enough.

Northern Mich..Anyone camped at "The Bluffs' or Onaway Park

Going up to Northern Michigan this upcoming July to visit friends who have a cabin on Black Lake in Cheboygan Michigan. Want to camp as close to there cabin as possible for convenience. Anyone ever stayed at "The Bluffs", its a restaurant and they have a small campground? Also, has anyone stayed at Onaway State Park? The Bluffs are only 2 mins away, but cant find reviews on the place anywhere! Thanks in advance!!!!

RE: Things to do around Orlando area OTHER than Disney

Thanks for all the awesome responses and advice!! And yes sorry for the last minute! This trip is just being tossed together, so just making it work. Love all the advice on the state parks and such. Wild monkeys seem pretty crazy and fun! Any more advice on really good restaurants to eat while in the area? Thanks!!

Things to do around Orlando area OTHER than Disney

Leaving on December 29th, and heading to the Orlando area for 10 days. Traveling with kids, 5 year old and 10 month old. Any "must do" type things within 2 hours of Orlando, OTHER than Disney parks? We are going to spend a few days at the park, but need other neat things to do because that park drives me nuts going to it every day. Also, will be traveling from Cincinnati, so any suggestions along the way would be great too. Valdosta area? Northern Florida? Atlanta? Never been to the south in winter, so this is a bit new for me.. Thanks in advance!!

RE: South Haven Trip next week. Things to see and do

I ask about the inland lake, because we were hoping to rent a pontoon for a day, to get my boating fix in for the week.

RE: South Haven Trip next week. Things to see and do

Valhalla360-yea I figured the big really neat lakes are further north.. Are they within a few hours drive north to get to? Like all within a days times?

RE: South Haven Trip next week. Things to see and do

Thanks for all the ideas so far! We def planned on making day trips to various places... hour or so drive to various attractions not in South Haven wouldn't be a problem. We just made South Haven our middle point.

South Haven Trip next week. Things to see and do

Leaving next Friday, 7/20 for 9 day trip to South Haven. Staying at Yogi Bear Resort in South Haven. In the past we stayed in Ludington, and would go north, but this time around with all the kids, wanted to stay closer, so chose the South side. Any things/activities that are must see or must do? Or even restaurants that are a must? We will have children with us ranging from 4 months, to 7 years old. Lastly, is there any INLAND lakes near South Haven that are a must see? I have heard these are all over in Michigan, and are beyond gorgeous. Thanks in advance!
