RE: How much off MSRP now?

I talked to a salesperson at our local Camping World. She said last week they averaged 7-8 sales per day during the week and sold 23 units on Saturday. She stated she's worked 20 days straight. She also said no one wants to fly, stay in a hotel or go on a cruise so they're going camping. Did you ask her how long she has worked there. They dont last long

RE: Anyone traveling yet

Wonder how many of the naysayers/non-believers would be willing to take their family camping in NY, GA, CA and other high risk areas. :R I would have no problem with it! sometimes not even worth arguing

RE: Anyone traveling yet

Yep, I plan to do do what I want when I want. If I want to go camping I will find a place and go. If you are so worried then stay home and hide in the closet! I for one have been doing the same thing I have always done since March! I’ve been going to work everyday working on different cars daily. All this Covid “stuff” has gotten so out of hand it’s become laughable. The elderly and sick should stay home and be safe. Let everyone else get back to a normal life! Hard to imagine some people think this way.Nit sure it’s laughable to the 10s of thousands that died in America alone

RE: The camping industry is going to be hit hard

If things start opening May 1st the economy will recover slowly. If we stay closed for 2 more months (like some want us to do) the. Things will go bad quick. The economy can barely handle the 4 weeks we have now. Another 8 will kill it off quickly. We need to get back to operation fast. We will survive this as has been proven time and again in the past couple months. Some people just aren’t being reasonable or using common sense when they start talking about keeping things closed for a couple more months or more. There are a few states that are already planning on going bankrupt! My take in it! You have to explain it to people like you would a child, and this is not easy to do but it needs to be said. “People get sick and sometimes people die” this is nature and no amount of closing businesses is going to stop it. The virus will spread until “it”decides to stop spreading! If humans think they can control nature they are wrong and there is plenty of history that proves that! Yes we can slow it, but that all we are doing is prolonging the inevitable. It will run its course and will stop and we will have a vaccine by this time next year. And even then with a. Vaccine people will still die from it!As long as all this happens far, far away, on TV . . . it's easy to take your position that we should just open things up and let it "run its course". If the raw reality of "People get sick and sometimes people die" came walking in the front door of your home, would you still feel the same?If you were unemployed, married, had a five year old and a 3 year old, and a mortgage, and your only source of income was $900 per week, would you still feel the same? There are a lot of tough questions out there. not a bad income why would you go back to work
