Power Gear Slide Stuck in Out Position

Is anyone on here familiar with the power gear in frame 2.5” tube couch/dinette slide? Is there anything inside the outer slide tube that could be catching the inner tube? Slide won’t go in. Motor powers out, manually wrenching slide won’t work, slid gears off and tried come along. I’ve wiggled slide and it’s free, it’s like something came apart inside telescoping tubes? Knowledgeable help appreciated

Overnight Park Near Berkley Riverfront Park in KC

We are wanting to take our motorhome to a memorial walk along the riverfront in honor of organ donors and our son who was one. It is Sat May 11 at Berkley Riverfront Park. Any place to park or camp in Kansas City? I see Isle of Capri Casino is close by but read they don't allow RV's

RE: Electrical Help Please

The funny thing is I can't find any solenoids or anything that looks like a solenoid other than the Big Boy Battery Isolator. And no there is no solenoids in the BCC The Big Boy Battery Isolator Relay sure looks like a specialized solenoid to me. Art LMAO thanks

RE: Electrical Help Please

Is your BigBoy hot to the touch when hooked to shore power? What are the voltages on each of the two large lugs on the B B and then when someone pushes the boost switch? After a week of research I found my answer and you were the only one that was on to it as well. It is the big boy that is not allowing the chassis batteries to charge while on shorepower.

RE: Electrical Help Please

A bad charge solenoid would cause both problems. I'd test if there is ever any voltage across the smaller (control) terminals on the charge solenoid, when on shore power and the coach batteries are over 13.3V. If not, you may have a bad BCC. If there is voltage there, check the voltages on both sides of the solenoid (large terminals) to ground. A working solenoid should be at essentially the same voltage on both sides. Art The funny thing is I can't find any solenoids or anything that looks like a solenoid other than the Big Boy Battery Isolator. And no there is no solenoids in the BCC

RE: Electrical Help Please

All Fleetwood class A (except Flair) since mid 1995 charge the chassis battery when plugged in. That feature started with CB-200 & CB-300 rev. C for RV Custom Products BCC. All you ever wanted to know about RV Custom Products BCC. Richard That's what I've found too and thank you for the link with the revisions update

RE: Electrical Help Please

#3 and I'd love for someone to help me understand the capabilities of the BCC when my book says while on shore power once the house batteries get to 13.3V the relay opens and sends current to the chassis battery and just the opposite when the engine in turning the altenator. Either they sent the wrong book with the coach or the BCC has been switched out. It's 13 years old and we have had it for 2 weeks so it has a history before us but the previous owners said the shorepower charges both house and chassis. I've googled and found nothing and was just trying to find an answer here.

RE: Electrical Help Please

I'd love to fix the problem instead of bandaid it with a charger

RE: Electrical Help Please

Our 2005 Fleetwood Excursion does not charge the starting batteries on shore power either - but it wasn't designed to. Are you sure yours is supposed to? Bill I would assume that's why there is a Battery Control Center

Electrical Help Please

i have a 2006 Fleetwood Bounder diesel that only charges the house batteries on shorepower. I have a Big Boy Battery Isolator Relay and a Battery Control Center(BCC) #F73-1042. I'v e been told there is a bad solenoid in the BCC behind the fuse board but the schematics show no solenoid in there and I don't want to take the BCC apart if I don't have to. Need help where to look? Is the Big Boy only there to connect all batteries when the AUX Start button is pushed? Any help is appreciated

RE: Engine batteries not charging

The cover should show the fuses and their function. the cover explains nothing

RE: Engine batteries not charging

Close to the two battery banks is a black box called a Battery Control Center (BCC), manufactured by RV Custom Products. In the BCC, behind the circuit board, is the isolator relay. It's the silver one. It's probably your problem. On the back side of the BCC cover is a wiring print, that shows how the isolator relay connects the two battery banks together when either battery bank reaches 13.2 volts. Your coach DOES charge the chassis battery when plugged in. Advice about your charging system from non Fleetwood owners is usually incorrect. Richard so you're saying take the entire fuse panel out because there is no isolator relay there

Engine batteries not charging

I have my 2006 Bounder 37U here at home in my shop and has been hooked up to shore power since Wednesday. House batteries are charging and chassis batteries are not. Now the RV won't start. Where do I start. I have a Big Boy battery isolator ad it has 13.4 volts on one post and 11.5 on the other. All interstate batteries are 2 years old

What about for the guy who still works and doesn't have the time to drive to Florida?

RE: Foggy Windows

I just had the drivers side front window removed, laminated glass installed in original frame and reinstalled for less than repairing the dual pane. Same glass as the windshield and will never fog again. The slight loss of insulation value does not offset the need to keep fixing the darn window. Hard to throw dollars at a repair that will just need it again in a few years.

Foggy Windows

Bought a new to us 2006 Fleetwood Bounder 37U. It has a couple foggy windows that we would like to fix. Obviously they are dual pane and the seal has failed. We live in west central Illinois. What are our options?
