Onan QG fuel coming out air filter & oil build pressure

Hey guys,
I replaced my generator with a 2013 Onan QG 4000. I knew it had problems, but it was a great deal. For some reason, starting it builds pressure in the oil. WHen I take off the oil cap, it sprays everywhere.
Fuel was also coming out the air filter, so i replaced the carb, but the fuel is still overflowing there. Any ideas?

Changing oil & can only fit in half a quart :S - QG 4000

I just put an Onan QG 4000 in my RV. It was used and the fuel float was stuck, but I think we got that taken care of. Since fuel had gotten in oil, I tried to change the oil today. Seemed to all flow out easily since it had gas in it.
I went to add oil and after half a quart, it overflowed. Doesn't seem to be settling down in there. (capacity is 1.6 quarts)
Tomorrow I will drain again to see if that half quart comes out.
Any suggestions? Do you normally have to add a little at a time? I'm hoping I don't need to drop oil pan.
Concerning side note: Before I changed the oil, running the generator built up oil pressure, causing it to spray out the next time I opened the dipstick.

RE: Fitting Onan QG 4000 in 28" space

I did it! It is 30 at the bottom, but it's less than 29" 9" from the bottom, which is where my tray was smaller. The compartment is huge, I just had to make the tray work.

Fitting Onan QG 4000 in 28" space

My generator space on my class c RV is 28" long. It's the style where you can slide the generator out. Specs for the QG 4000 is 30" long, but the guy I'm buying it from swears it's 28". I think I can bend that side where it slides out 1/4" or 1/2" to make it fit.
What do you guys think?

Could it be the voltage regulator?

RE: Onan generator has power to solenoid but not control board

Fuse is good. Solenoid is good. Power isn’t getting to the control board at all so switch doesn’t do anything.

Onan generator has power to solenoid but not control board

Hey guys. I have an onan emerald plus 4000 generator. Was testing my new starter and hooked up the jumper cables to it wrong, frying everything. I have since replaced the starter, solenoid, and control panel.
I’m getting power to the solenoid and just 0.2 volts to jumper 7 on the wiring harness if I disconnect the control board. 11 is supposed to be power in, but there’s no power there. It looks like those cables go through a ground or something first.
Any ideas?

Seems like there isn't a cost difference if I shop around.

Replacing Norcold Fridge: get 2 way or 3 way?

I am replacing my 1998 Norcold N9162 with a Norcold N641 or N641.3. (6.3 cubic feet)
Do you guys recommend I get the 3 way or will the 2 way be fine? I have 2 6 volt deep cell batteries in series as my house batteries. Leaning toward 3 way, but I'd like anyone's advice that is kind enough t share it.
Does anyone know the difference between the N641 or the N641.3?
