RE: 2014 Georgetown XL

If its like my 2012 Georgetown, I had to take it in to have them FIND the bypass.. Best $26 I ever spent. Luke warm water for 3 months was not fun. Anyways where mine was open your bay doors you will find two WHITE screw tight vents, they will be vertical unscrew each of them, behind there you will find your bypass and your low point. Mine also was not in the book.

RE: Location for 2 more batteries

I finished my solar an Inverter install last summer, the next is the battery upgrade. I have found an adjacent bay that will work very well for additional batteries.

RE: Water Heater, How long do they last?

Try flushing the water heater, see if it will then heat. Might need to just replace the element, sounds like the tank is still doing OK if its heating with propane an not leaking.

RE: Rear wheels off the pavement

Could be your driveway is sloped enough to get level has to raise the rear wheels that much. You never want your wheels in the air. As mentioned use blocks if the slope is that much. If your driveway is level then you need calibration.

RE: Washer and Dryer

We have the splendid 2100XC washer/dryer one unit. There have been very few times having a stackable would have been nice, but there are just the two of us. I cannot express more importantly regardless which way you go, make SURE its a VENTED unit. Have heard from many a non vented is .. well, pretty useless, not to mention moisture an RV mixed is always bad.

RE: Don't know this electrical part, what is it?

I think Charles is right, looks like a solenoid isolater.

RE: Trip Planning Software for COMPUTER

Just a note, I have the NEW 2013 S&T also a fan of this software this is my 3rd version. I just upgraded to a new 2013 Garmin, an was very disappointed it (S&T) dosnt support my new Garmin. I wanted to have the ... huge screen via laptop, but no luck. I wished I had looked at which Navigators worked with the S&T first.

RE: How old is too old on year model?

With your price range, you should be fine, there are many units out there that, well have been parked, and it great condition,We had a 27Ft bunk house in.. 1994, kids got busy with cheer leading, sports, friends etc.. So ,, was a great day when the neighbor inquired about selling it to him.

RE: Coach Road Noise

Have driven both, my gas is quite enough, the BEST part of the Diesel IMHO is the ride, cant beat the cushy, cushy ride..

RE: 210 series HWH jacks not extending

Just a thought, mine NEVER extend when I get to park, Unless I re-raise the jacks, its like they vibrate down on the sensor from driving (very minute movement), and then they work fine.

RE: Galley faucet handle explodes off.

the water pump can run dry without a problem, does sound like the air pressure was too high for the valve. Should always open the hot an cold before turning on the pump after sitting for along time, allows the air to leave your lines avoiding pressure buildup.

RE: Why would New Charge Line Affect MH Steps?

They may have put the line from the Honda battery to the "ign" side of the MH switch. If the steps think the MH is running the steps will go in and out every time you open and close the door. Yep, sounds about right to me, the steps are sensing the RV is powered up.. and doing exactly what it would do in that situation. Possible ground problem?

RE: Replacing the light in the light switch?

As mentioned your better off to get a new rocker illuminated switch, might even get a different color, easier to figure out which is on. I have 3 switches all blue, but still have to get really close to figure out which is which.

RE: ?? RE: Slide switch ....

So my question with the one switch. If one doesn't open then the others also are no operational. Makes for a small living area in a pinch.

RE: Pictures of my new Dually and TC

Very very nice. Ive always been a Ram dude, anyways. this would be a great setup for the guys weekend out... Better gas mileage than my coach, and I dont mind the less space as the DW does.

RE: Will a 1000watt Yamaha generator charge battery?

I have heard many have tried the 12V setup for their cpap machines, too only find out they really need the 2 6V higher amh to work though out the night. Great idea to try it in the backyard under your exact application you will be using while dry camping.

RE: Charging Toad battery with 4-wire harness?

No. The running light circuit is most definitely not sized for that level of current draw on the MH side. Run a separate wire to the battery. Or as others have done have it converted to a 7 way plug which contains a charge line. X2

RE: Nature Power unit
